PERSONAL PROFILE I am a multilingual graduate with 6+ months relevant professional planning experience and a strong academic background in policy, design and place-making based on economics and sustainability. Having studied and worked on a range of projects from South America, to Europe to Asia; I have developed a unique perspective on planning and design that I am always willing to expand with further work experience. I hope to achieve chartered membership at the RTPI in just less than 18 months.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE January 2014 Present
PHA Communications Ltd. Graduate Planning Consultant As the resident planning specialist, I am responsible for planning applications (ranging from GPDO, LNs and Full Planning, with Design, Access and Heritage statements) for the telecommunications side – while assisting the land acquisition team in the Renewable Energy side as well.

Capital Development Authority Intern (Government of Pakistan) By shadowing the Planning Director, post-2010 floods, I was able to gain an insight into a planning department’s role following a recent disaster. I was asked to apply my understanding of design in planning to upcoming housing development projects and was able to identify previously overlooked issues.

Sustainable Development of the Walled City of Lahore Intern (World Bank) I was assigned to work with a variety of departments over the course of my placement – through which I was able to grasp the organisational structure of such a complex project. My biggest achievement was to draft a successful inhabitant movement strategy for the social mobilisation team.
