“Draw Up A Chair” • Objective - To design a movable public chair for Battery Park, part of the Battery Conservancy. • One of New York City’s oldest public parks • A 25 acre public park located at the southern tip of Manhattan, the confluence of the Hudson and East Rivers, facing New York Harbor • The cradle of New York history, the front lawn of the Downtown district, and the hub of harbor access and cultural tourism • Over six million people from around the world annually visit the park
