A cup of coffee is a great way of getting to know someone. Fun, intuitive, interesting, engaging are just some ways for me to describe this interview.

simple, fun-loving girl, is how most people describe Caitlyn to be. Yet, you truly don’t know someone untill you take the time out and really get to know them. I can say for sure that she is a strong individual that has a lot of offer to others, as well as the world. Her aspirations are just like the rest of us, but its her endless care that sets her apart from the crowd. The love for her family, her devotion to her parents and the art thats inside of her; all come together to make her what she is today, Caitlyn Wozniak.

N.A. Who is the most important person in your life? CW: “My mom is the most important person in my life because there’s no one else in the world I trust as much as her. No matter what I tell her and no matter what I do, I know she’ll never judge me or love me any less. She’s the first person to pick me up when I’m down and the first person to make me realize all that’s good when I am sad. She goes above and beyond for me and has never stood in my way from doing something I feel passionate about. She will put my priorities before her own in any situation. She will drop whatever she is doing if I need her and I can’t think of any other person who would be able to put up with me like she does.” NA: What do you want to become? Why? CW: “I want to become a mom and a wife. Definitely getting a good job is a priority too but nothing is more important than the other two. My whole life I had my mom home raising us and my dad worked and it was perfect. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the same luxury but I hope I do one day. I want to become a graduate of Adelphi University and find a good job that I enjoy going to. I want to also work each and everyday to become a better person because I think everyone can improve themselves.” NA: What are you proudest of in your life? CW: “One thing I am most proud of in my life is going to college and getting a great education.” NA: Where do you think you will be in 10 years? 20 years? CW: “In 10 years, I plan on hav-

ing a great marriage and a job. In 20 years, I plan on having kids and hopefully, my husband earns enough money for me to stay at home.” NA: Do you have any regrets? CW: “I regret not trying harder in hgih school. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter because I love the school that I am at now. However, by the time senior year came, I had always wished I took school more seriously because I never realized how quickly those 4 years flew by.”

“But first let me take a selfie” NA: What’s the best advice that you have ever received? CW: “The best advice someone ever gave me was my parents. They told me to never do something that doesn’t make you happy. It’s so cliche but so true. There is no good to come of something if you’re not doing it with a smile on your face.” NA: What is your favorite quote and what does it mean to you? CW: “My favorite quote is that everything happens for a reason. I have lost many friends in my life and have done many things that I can’t take back and it has led me to where I am today because at this

moment I am genuinely happy. The friends I lost happened for a reason because they were holding me back from the friends I have now.” NA: Do you have any siblings? How did they grow up? CW: “I have a younger sister and growing up, I have always looked up to her, where I complain about even a paper cut, she has been through so many surgeries because she has Cleft lip palette and she still manages to not complain.” NA:When did you first fall in love? CW: “I first fell in love in 8th grade. Looking back on it now it probably wasn’t real love but I wanted to spend all my time with that person and even though it was 7 years ago. I would still be there for that person if they needed me. We have talked through the years and it brings back good memories when I see that person. I might have only been 13 but I thought I was really in love.” NA: Do you believe in god? When you meet got what would you say to hi ? CW: “I believe in God because I can’t think of any other explanation for how everything had been created. If I met God, I would ask him if everything really does happen for a reason.” NA: Who’s your favorite artist? CW: “Bruce Springsteen. I grew up listening to him and just something about his music makes me so happy. I went to this concert a year and a half ago and am dying to go again. It was hands down one of the best nights in my life. I went with my dad because he is obsessed with him also.”
