Why White Rann Resort as Site? • This site is located near Ludiya village. • The architecture pattern of this site resembles the pattern of the housing lifestyle of Jat Muslims. • It is located just beside the rann utsav ground. • Thus, keeping more scope for tourist to visit this place. • It is connected to the main highway that links to Bhuj. • All the site seeing spots are near to this resort.

05

THESIS - Tribal Community Center

Conceptual and Design The basic concept revolves around the idea of homogenous spaces. All the spaces are connected though being indivudual. A flow pattern can be seen clearly. The interior spaces of the center are designed keeping the tribal, their need and lifestyle in mind. Below is the Furniture Layout showcasing my ideas and concepts.

02 STUDIO 7: Adaptive Re-use Abstract:• The main purpose of this project was to re-adapt a dead or a heritage site which is no longer in working state or is abandoned. • We had to add up a function to the abandoned site which was not available to the local people residing in Anand city, Gujarat. • I decided to propose a radio station in the city, as currently there are no radio stations in this city. • The project aims on the betterment of the people residing in the city as radio station can only entertain people but also make them aware about the on going things. • It is not only the easiest and the cheapest means of entertainment but to knowledge also.

09

10

Aim:To design a commercial or retail space that would work well in a place like Anand city, Gujarat. I proposed a radio station in the given site, as there are no radio stations in Anand.

11

STUDIO 7- Radio Station

Conceptual and Design To design an informal Radio station, which works like an office but looks like a gang out place. I have used dynamic theme, which is been shown in the furniture layout below. The reason behind choosing this theme was dyanmics gives a look of infinity which builts a curious nature in human, which is good for office works.

05 FURNITURE DESIGN: Kiosk Abstract:• Designing a kiosk for public place. • The kiosk that I proposed was of coffee and tea, which was supposed to be kept at airports, railways, malls. • The concept that I chose for designing this kiosk was handfan. • I took this concept as it was the most used thing by the people which gave them comfort and made them feel relaxed, as my kiosk was gonna do.

06 STUDIO 4: Corporate Studio Abstract:• This studio started from arranging different sizes of squares (2d) in a sheet , keeping in mind it’s proximity, hierarchy, relativity. • Then we had to choose the best one that fitted all the requirements and make different models (3d) of the same. • Which were closed, open, then giving doors and windows then adding circulation, then furniture and finally the colors which made it look like a office. • We did the case study of the Chiripal textiles corporate office. • We were given the basic requirement and according to that we were suppose to design .

29

30

CORPORATE Arranging different sizes of square, keeping in mind the hierarchy, pattern in mind while placing them. Then choosing an appropriate format and carrying forward it, making, closed and open spaces within it, then visualizing it and placing furniture within it and converting the 2d layout in 3d office.

31

STUDIO 4- Corporate

Design The aim was to design a office for Times of India Group. The designing concept was based on the principles of gestalt theory. I tried to create a diagonal layout in a rectangle space.
