Spanish B1 (Beginning Spanish) is an introduction to the pronunciation, and functional vocabulary for everyday communication. The four language skills of listening-understanding, speaking, reading and writing are emphasized. Students are made aware of the cultural aspects of the language, and the particular culture of the Spanish speaking societies. Students will be able to follow and participate in simple interactions.
