Rosenthal Porzellan stellt Lampen auf den Kopf
D
ie Tischleuchte Nightingale, entworfen von Dante – Goods and Bads in Zusammenarbeit mit Rosenthal, stellt den Aufbau und die Konstruktion einer Lampe gänzlich und im wahrsten Sinne auf den Kopf: Der ansonsten übliche Schirm des Designstücks ist um 90 Grad gedreht und kreiert ein ganz neues Verhältnis zwischen Leuchte und Reflektor. Der filigrane Porzellankörper erinnert im ersten Moment an eine altertümliche Laterne, strahlt jedoch durch seine klare Form und den weichen LED-Lichtkegel eine durch und durch moderne Ästhetik aus. Ein Lederband, wahlweise in Bordeaux, Dunkelbraun oder Natural erhältlich, dient als Griff, mit dem man die Lichtposition verändern kann, und versteckt elegant die Verkabelung. Nightingale ist in zwei Größen, 27 und 42 Zentimeter hoch, bestellbar. Jetzt auch in Rosé mit bordeauxfarbenem Ledergriff. n
Porcelain Turns Lamps Upside Down
T
he Nightingale table top lamp, designed by Dante - Goods and Bads in collaboration with Rosenthal, turns the concept and construction of a lamp entirely and literally upside down: the otherwise common shade of the design piece is rotated by 90 degrees and creates a whole new relationship between lamp and reflector. The delicate porcelain body, reminiscent of an ancient lantern in the fi rst moment, radiates a thoroughly modern aesthetic through its clear shape and the soft LED light cone. A leather strap, available in bordeaux, dark brown or natural, serves as a handle, with which the light position can be adjusted, and elegantly hides away the wiring. Nightingale is available in two sizes: 27 and 42 cm high. Now also available in light pink with bordeaux leather handle. n
