Cap timm baseball field at iowa state university

Ames, Iowa

CONCEPT

DESIGN/BUILD:

Our class designed and constructed renovations through the Iowa State University Recreation Services for the CapTimm Baseball Field consisting of architects, landscape architects, interior designers and industrial designers. We had to design and renovate the complex as well as commemorate Leroy “Cap Timm. He was the longest tenured college baseball coach for the Iowa State Cyclones. The areas I helped with were demolition, creating the net and dugout metal parts, building the foundation walls, installing the rusted metal dugout back pieces, and from there I jumped around to areas that needed assistance.
