Course Content Teachers use a wide range of teaching resources, including books, websites, newspapers and other authentic materials on this course. Students will also have the opportunity to subscribe to foreign language magazines. There is a KS5 exchange to Spain and also the opportunity to do work experience abroad. The next exchange will be in 2015-16.

All AS/A2 students are given a ‘Rosetta Stone’ account as part of their basic MFL provision. The Harrogate Film Society use The Forum as their venue and sixth form linguists are able to benefit from free tickets.
Teaching Groups generally have two teachers. We employ a Spanish language assistant who works both with teachers in class and also with small groups for intensive oral practice.
Classes have access to the MFL computer room and all classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, internet access and DVD players for film viewing. The iPad is used extensively in MFL teaching.
