PAPER SHEET LANDSCAPER’S OFFICE Through this team-based project, we had to turn a given space into a landscape architect agency. So we made a mock-up to expose our vision of this subject.

We wanted to create an ergonomic space by designing muti-purpose working areas, where pieces of furniture can easily change places because all of them can rotate around an axis similar to a down spout. Our whole production is covered in a pared down style taking advantage of the natural light and cheap materials like translucent paper and kraft cardboard. We compared this neutral space to a blank paper sheet.

To bring a natural atmosphere enhancing the landscraper’s imaginative work, we took care of lighting and to install a ceiling layout to create a light and shadow contrast similar to a undergowth, evoking a vegetal environment.

WATER CYCLE UTOPIAN CITY This is a self-directed project in plastic arts. I made it during my first year at l’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique located in France. I had to invent an utopian city and made a model of it following this though. So I imagined a city that was organised on both sides of a river, from upstream to down stream. this town is divided into three parts. Each part is separated by a wall only passable in one way by the inhabitants of that place. They live according to the rhytm of the water cycle. Water rules their lives from their birth to their death. Throught this utopia I wanted to prove that joy and hapiness were privileges for people who manage to live one day at time : «Carpe Diem».

SLANTED EXPERIENCE

In a team during a seminar we chose a famous architecture masterpiece that we broke down and rebuilt in order to design a hotel room located along l'Erdre, a French river. The initial building was the Farnswoth House designed by Mies Van Der Rohe. Keeping all the original materials and mixing them in a completely new way, we reassembled the various elements in order to create a quaint building. We created a

APPARTMENT IN BANGALORE During this self directed project I had to design a two BHK on an patch of 216 square meters. The structure of the building is supported by stilts. The main challenge was to create two separate apartement in this tiny space by respecting the rules of ergonomics to enhance the favorable flow of inhabitants. The constraints imposed by the client was to create one apartement with two bed rooms and one other with only one.

WINE MERCHANT VINIVERS

This is a team-based project based on a store fitting and on the refurbishment of premises for the sale of wine. We had to think about an innovative concept in order to attract customers. To do this we chose to base our tought on travel, globalization and fair trade.

We wanted to show that vine is universal. We based on the fact that each continent has its own wines, so we thought it would be judicious to classify wines according to their continent of origin in order to guide the client in the store. To stock and highlight bottle origin, we put them in special furniture symbolizing the six continents. To show variety of wine we chose to put some bottles on a wall made of a piece of container ship.

Because of the authenticity of use of corrugated iron it reflects the know-how of the shop and also that it is an invitation to travel. We wanted create a friendly atmosphere by offering various tastings all around the central table.

NURSERY ECO-CUBE This is the nursery conceptselected by my colleague among the three we proposed during our long project.

We called it ÂŤEco-CubeÂť because we wanted throught this project to design a cheap structure that was both playful and comfortable. We responded to this constraint using a cube in the space. First the cube is an easily reproducible geometry, it can become a shelter or a box.

The cube is space saving due to its modularity and we have significantly reduced the surface of the building by boxing up the reading area and play area in the recesses formed by dormitories.

During this team based project we had to renovate this restaurant to adapt it to the new ergonomical laws for physically challenged people. To design the interior we took our inspiration from a library to refer to the name of the restaurant «l’Ecrivain» which means «writer». In terms of movment we cleared sufficient space which permits for wheelchairs. We also targeted acoustic disabilities with a fitted insulation thanks to the wall coating made out of books and by adding a stretch ceiling. A cork floor and a layer of flexible PVC placed on tables absorbs maximum unwanted sounds.

APP FOR EFD

This is a team based project done during the fourth year of my Masters degree. We designed this application for EFD company. This German company which has set up shop in India, is a world leader in induction. Our mission was first to redesign the branding of the company and the interior of their new factory. My team had to design an application following the new design decided previously reppresenting a red thread inspired by the EFD logo. The aim of this application, compatible with tablets and smart phones, is to guide and inform EFD’s clients during their visits and to higlight EFD’s image.

STALL FRDC AT IN STORE ASIA 2013

I designed this stall during my last internship at FRDC, a retail design company. The aim of this stall was to showcase the work done by FRDC and JGA an American company during the event In Store Asia in Mumbai. I had to consider in my designs how to assemble the stall in one day by providing instructions to the workers.

SUITE CASE FOR STUDENTS

For this team based project run by the NGO Poorna Kaksha. We had to design a solution to enhance education for Indian kids. We decided to create a compact and dismountable suite case in wich fit a blackboard desk, a dynamo torch, a stationary storage and a cover usable as a seat. This product is made out of chipboard and EVA foam, two cheap material wich fit both with the young students uses and the budget of their parents. Provide this tool to every kids in India could improve the comfort during classes and during homework.

This is one of the three concepts of my final diploma project I presented to the jury. for the presentation I develloped several posters highlighting the different systems I designed. Each poster was accompanied by a leaflet to give more detail on each step. In this project I was thinking how to enhance the re-integration of an Indian prisoner within the society before during and after an emprisonment. I decided to develop agriculture inside open prisons to both decrease the food expenditure and increase the vocational training.

WHAT ?

Prisons should be equiped with such amenities to provide to prisoners the essential training for their re-integration when they will be released from prison. A training room with all the collected can be created to ensure good studies conditions.

En Avant La

I designed this stall for an exhibition based on the different kinds of music. I had to synthesize jazz music in a small and ephemeral space. I choose the characteristic elements wich constitute this music and I determined a historic context to establish my scenography. I took a range of color matching with the jazz style and its energy. My intent was to transcribe a New Orlean atmosphere, both festive and mysterious.

SET OF BOOK : PAYSAGE MUSICAUX

and also the back of a book. I made repeatable graphic design in order to easily continue the set of books. I created many logos to divide the book into several chapters. I chose one colour per musical style in association with black which qualify the set called “paysage musical. I chose the landscape size to give to the reader the impression that he is travelling through the music.

GRAFFITI AND SIGNS

Through this experimental approach, I was interested by graffitis we can observe in cities. During my researches I noticed that most of the time people consider it as vandalism or street art. This tought allowed me to build my on opinion on the subject and therefore I imagined a new use for graffiti : the sign. In my opinion graffiti is a way to to synthesize the information. It can uplift a message by galvanize people’s sensitivity. It can bring a entertaining dimension or even highlight the importance of a message. Thanks to these photographic serie I made connections between space and graffiti for informal purposes.

DECEPTIVE LIGHTS

I wanted to show with these photos that light is essential for visual perception because when you control it, it has the power to decieve you by offering surreal scenes that can evoke evoke dreams.
