I am a positive, creative and passionate student of Architecture, always looking for new experiences. I love visiting and living new places, staying in different habits from my original ones. I am used to work well in team but I have also experienced the individual work. I enjoy my free time doing sports, hiking and going to cultural events.

Alpine pavilion Architectural design studio III: redevelopment project of Uschione, an alpine village located in Valchiavenna, Lombard Alps 10/2014 - 07/2015

Professors Team Abstract

Arch. Angelo Dal Sasso, Arch. Darko Pandakovic, Arch. Alessandro Verga Nicola Bruno Uschione is a wonderful alpine village located above Chiavenna, in the Lombard Alps. Over the years, the village had become almost inhabited. The intent is to give a new life to the village, finding new features that could safeguard the heritage and the incredible landscape. The design program included the village masterplan, the restoration of an existing building in the broader plan of a resort, and the design of a new multifunctional pavilion.

Located in the hinterland of Milan, the Opera Jail is one of the most comfortable prisons in Italy. Nevertheless, many things could be improved to allow prisoners to serve their sentences in dignity and in human conditions. Thanks to fruitful discussions with the prisoners, we tried to define a project that aligns as closely as possible to their needs. The design program: a new detention pavilion, more spaces for working, new spaces for affection and a general landscape requalification.

The new Campus is located in the Bisagno Valley, an area whose land has been battered by an uncontrolled urbanization process. The project attempts to heal the wounds of the landscape, trying to restore the connection between mountains and river which had been eliminated by the process of urbanization. Design Program: a new university campus, with classrooms, offices, departments and the connected facilities.

Professors Team Abstract

Arch. Marco Bozzola, Arch. Carlo Ezechieli, Ing. Renzo Rosso Veronica Baselli, Andrea Belotti, Nicola Bruno and Alessandro Citterio The project involved a proposal for the redevelopment and the re-opening of the Club Méditerranée Caprera, closed and abandoned for years. Caprera is an island of the archipelago of La Maddalena, Sardinia. The island , which is part of one of Italy’s most important National Parks, is characterized by a wild and lush vegetation, punctuated by World War I’s strategic military forts. The Club Med is is immersed in this magnificent landscape, amalgamating to the point to make itself almost invisible.

Batary Pavilion Project of the Architectural Studio I attended during the Erasmus at the ULHT of Lisboa 09/2017 - 02/2018

Professors Team Abstract

Arch. Pedro Ressano Garcia, Arch. Maria Rita Pais Nicola Bruno During the Erasmus in Lisbon, I attended a design studio in the ULHT. During the first phase, I worked with Portugues and Australian students in an international workshop called “Tagus Mouth Workshop”. In this phase we have designed in groups a masterplan for the cities of Oeiras e Trafaria, located in the Tagus river’s mouth. The second phase of the work was individual and focused on a smaller composition project. I have chose a residual place of the waterfront of Oeiras (Lisbon), located between a railway and a highway, with a stunning view over the Atlantic Ocean. The project consists in a new documentation and learning center, placed between some important military venues of the World War I: the Bataria da Lage and the Forte de Santo Amaro. The new pavilion follows the same constructive principles of the bataria, which is a strategic and panoramic structure, but hidden. Moreover, the new building is part of a connective system designed in group during the international workshop, and the building itself works as a connective system between different heights.
