he Speciality Fine Food Fair brought together over 850 figures from the food and drink trades for two days of unique networking, unmatched business opportunities and in-depth discussion on the latest industry practises and advancements. Held between the 4th-6th September, exhibitors were able to put their products out there in front of thousands of trade buyers and those passionate about speciality foods, artisan and fine food and drink. Celebrating everything taste, the show pulled in such famous faces as Dragon's Den success story Levi Roots, founder of Reggae Reggae Sauce, as well as Gareth Gates and his new coconut drink Cuppanut. Yet again, there were dozens upon dozens of big food labels as well as independent companies.

On the business side of things, there was also a Business Mentoring Sector that offered SME expert's advice and private sessions to troubleshoot particular issues. The show also includes a Small Producer Village solely for brand new companies that are recently launched and looking to show off their new products.

y Pop-up Kitchen was founded in 2013 in London by Katy Widarto as a bespoke catering service for dinner parties. Katy was born on the Chinese Island of Hainan and grew up in Sydney, Australia. She is passionate about good food not only for its taste but also for its ability to bring people of all backgrounds together. She and her team specialize in Southeast Asian dishes that she herself loves eating!

Last year the company launched their own Thai Green and Red Curry Paste and this year they have added an Indonesian Curry Paste to their line-up. The pastes are a fresh product and can be found in the chilled foods section. They use the freshest ingredients available and are produced by Katy and her team in a way that ensures freshness and intensity of flavours. According to her customers the pastes are the perfect base to cook delicious dishes with an authentic, fresh and uncompromising taste. My Pop-up Kitchen is a socially responsible company and through their business they support Vision Rescue, a charity based in India whose work involves feeding, providing non-formal education, medical help, skills training and other kinds of help to street children in Mumbai.
