INTRODUCING OUR PIPELINE DIVISION The decision to open a pipeline division at Nicholson was the result of increased demand from our customers asking if we could perform these services. As a growing business, we were already performing heavy civil construction and utility work and saw an opportunity to further expand our operations. By opening a pipeline division, we also increased the areas that our clients could allocate diversification spends. The work is performed under our PLCA agreement and utilizes local union talent across the Northeast United States. In order to facilitate the opening of this new division, Nicholson recruited the industry experience of Cliff Sinclair and Aaron Rattray.
Introducing our new division leader,
Cliff Sinclair. Cliff has over 25 years of experience in the pipeline industry, spending the past 15 years as a Superintendent for U.S. Pipeline, Inc. Cliff has worked for some of the largest pipeline companies including TC Energy, Enbridge, Spectra, and Williams. He has overseen a wide range of projects, from intricate city pipeline installations of less than 2 miles, to a 134 mile pipeline loop installation.
In addition to his commitment to safety and quality control, Cliff brings extensive knowledge of mainline pipeline construction and hydrostatic testing to Nicholson.
Aaron Rattray is the Project Manager
for the Nicholson pipeline division. He brings with him over 15 years of industry experience. Prior to working
at Nicholson, Aaron provided onsite project management for a multitude of Oil & gas pipeline projects ranging from $4.0 Million to $200.0 Million. Over the course of his professional experience at U.S. Pipeline, Inc. he has excelled in coordination with clients, providing detailed progress reports and up-to-date project forecasts. Familiar with all aspects of pipeline construction, both Cliff and Aaron are contributing their knowledge and expertise to the quickly-growing Nicholson pipeline division.
