This class will prepare students for more advanced courses including Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Training. SPRING BOARD DIVING AGES 7 TO 14 TWO 2 HOUR CLASSES $46/OLATHE RESIDENTS $41

Four outdoor clinics are being offered this summer for those youngsters who wish to learn the sport of spring board diving. The clinic will be on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The clinics are designed to teach youngsters how to do a proper approach, how to execute various dives and, most important, the safety to be observed when attempting a dive. LAP SWIMMING AGES 15 & UP

Designated lanes will be available Monday through Friday at Black Bob Bay after 6:00 pm. Due to evening swim lessons at Black Bob Bay, only two lap lanes will be available. Admission is the normal general admission or season pass.

Planning to lifeguard next summer? This class will prepare you for a fun and rewarding job. The class emphasizes professionalism; prevention, scanning, victim recognition, disease prevention and equipment based rescues CPR First Aid and A.E.D. certification is included along with textbooks and a CPR mask. Successful completion of the class will earn you the certifications you need. Because of equipment rental and subjects covered, attendance is mandatory and crucial to all sessions. Prerequisites-must pass the first night to go on in class.
