BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN
FINANCE
A Powerful Educational Experience The finance program at Niagara University challenges students to develop skills in economics, mathematics, statistics, accounting, and management, and then apply this knowledge by measuring, managing, and extracting financial value for business organizations or individuals. Finance students develop a deep understanding of core business principles like raising capital, identifying investment opportunities, and monitoring profitability. Knowledgeable faculty with real-world industry experience combined with small class sizes enable students to grasp how financial value is created. Working with these faculty help students move into high-paying and rewarding careers in the growing financial industry.
A Cutting-Edge Curriculum The rigorous curriculum for finance majors includes coursework in corporate finance, micro- and macroeconomics, intermediate accounting, fundamentals of investments, business analytics, financial modeling, and derivative securities. Students gain the tools they need to be prepared for a wide array of careers in finance, both domestically and abroad. Students acquire real-world learning through case studies, projects, and internships with leading companies, as well as working with experienced faculty that bring corporate experience to the classroom.
