INTRODUCTION With the new enhanced learning Curriculum, the role of the teacher here is to guide

the learners in the right way and provide them learning opportunities. The pupil discovers his own learning capacity and success depends on the thinking ability of the students. Educators have devised various techniques aimed at meeting diverse needs of pupils. However, the demands for better techniques have become more challenging than ever because of the changes in the individual needs and readiness of the pupils.

K to 12 aims the learners to obtain a skilled job at the age of 18 years old. Selfearned money can be a stepping-stone to pursue tertiary level of education or may lead to a decent simple life. Though K to 12 has longer span of educating the citizen, the preparations for a sustainable living is much appropriate for a poor country like ours.

Continuous

monitoring, evaluation, re-planning, preparations, organizing and implementation is needed in consonance with the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in achieving Education for All (EFA)

For K-12 will put Filipino students at par with the rest of the world. Truly, investing in education is the key toward reaching national growth and development.
