NIGERIA IS MORE INSECURE AND UNSAFE NOW THAN EVER
★ Nigeria is now the murder capital of the world with more killings every day than in Syria, Libya, USA and Afghanistan put together. MAJORITY OF NIGERIANS ARE POORER THAN BEFORE ★ Nigeria is now the poverty capital of the world. 7 Nigerians fall below the extreme poverty line every day, many of whom are children. ★ More than 2 million Nigerians have become unemployed since 2015. More than 5000 lose their jobs every day.

FACTS HEALTHCARE HAS DETERIORATED ★ Nigeria is now the cancer capital of Africa with over 10,000 Nigerians dying of cancer every year. ★ More than 207,000 Nigerians die every year from malaria. ★ More than 150,000 Nigerians die every year from diarrhoea. ★ More women are dying during childbirth than ever before. ★ More children are dying before they reach the age of 5 than ever before. A child has a better chance of reaching 5 in war-torn Syria than in Nigeria.

FACTS EDUCATION IS SUFFERING ★ Illiteracy has risen to 40%. ★ Many schools are in extreme state of disrepair and neglect. ★ Since the end of the Safe School Initiative, now in some parts of Nigeria, schools are no-go-areas for our children. This has resulted in 90% illiteracy amongst girls in those parts.

CORRUPTION IS GETTING WORSE ★ Corruption has worsened with Transparency international, a respected international organisation, rating corruption worse in Nigeria now than under Jonathan. ★ Snakes are now swallowing money and monkeys are chewing cash. POWER SUPPLY IS WORSE ★ We now generate less electricity than we did under Jonathan. ★ It is now officially confirmed that the DISCOs are effectively insolvent.

LOCAL ENGAGEMENT 4. Work with the responsible authorities and the constituency to address the issue of flash flood in the constituency and address the poor state of the road schools and the drainage system.
★ 5. Work through NGOs to set up a scholarship scheme for indigent constituents and support for youth aspiring to set up their own businesses.
