At NFA, art is more than paper, pencil, paint, film, and clay. Art is life, movement, history, and experience. Art is NFA history, a tradition that continues to shape our evolution as an institution. NFA provides many opportunities for students to participate in all levels of musical composition and performance, acting, directing, set design, choreography, and dance. Visual & Fine Arts students follow a program that has produced professional artists for more than a century. One of only two professionally staffed, full time art museums on a high school campus in the country, Slater Memorial Museum offers students the opportunity to experience centuries of art first-hand. Students are enriched by Slater’s collection and resources.

Slater Museum
