The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested Abdul-Aziz Nyako, son of former Governor of Adamawa State, Vice Admiral Murtala Nyako (rtd.). The commission had earlier declared Nyako, who was removed by the Adamawa State House of Assembly last year over alleged gross misconduct and his son wanted, over alleged corruption. A statement by the Head of Media and Publicity, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said the younger Nyako was arrested yesterday in Gombe State, by operatives of the anti-graft agency. The statement reads: “Barely two weeks after the EFCC declared former Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako and his son, Abdul-Aziz, wanted, operatives of the antigraft agency, this morning arrested the younger Nyako in Gombe, Gombe State.
