1. Oral cancer may happen to anybody. But, its chances are very high in people using tobacco and alcohol. As the number of men using tobacco and alcohol is quite higher than women, the number of male patients diagnosed with oral cancer is almost double of women diagnosed with the disease.

2. Oral cancer be detected by physical examination, endoscopy, PET, MRI, and Biopsy. 3. Earlier, most patients diagnosed with oral cancer were in their 50s, but now the cases of young adults in their 20s and 30s are high.


4. Despite surviving the first encounter with oral cancer, the patients have the risk of developing the disease again in 5 to 10 years. 5. Quitting alcohol and tobacco and avoiding excessive sun exposure can reduce the risk of oral cancer to a large extent.
