Waynoka Waynoka Museum sets FCCLA 1:30 Sunday open house Dominates District By Daressa Poe Nine Waynoka FCCLA Chapter members brought home eight first places and one second place on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the North-2 District FCCLA STAR Events in Woodward. There are many different types of STAR Events, but most students develop a project, compile it in a notebook and present it at competition. The chapter was represented by nine students who competed in different events at this entry level of competition. The Waynoka Air Rail Museum invites everyone to Open House on Sunday, December 11, from 1:30 till 3:30. The museum features Waynoka’s fascinating transportation history, with emphasis on the Santa Fe Railroad, Fred Harvey, and Transcontinental Air Transport, with professionally done exhibits. Refreshments will be served by
the Waynoka Historical Society The Gift Shop will also be open. The Waynoka museum is on the second floor of the beautifully restored 1910 Harvey House which is at the west end of Waynoka Street on the BNSF Transcon. The Harvey House and Waynoka Air Rail Museum are totally ADA compliant. There is no charge for admission.
