Whether you’re interested in claiming your space in retail displays, decorating interiors, or just making the most of a New York City apartment, these courses will provide the skills you need.   Healthy Materials and Sustainable Buildings

Developed by experts at Parsons’ Healthy Materials Lab, this certificate program is composed of four self-paced online courses. Courses 1 and 2 provide an introduction to key topics in the field for those with a general or more specialized interest. Courses 3 and 4 are geared to practitioners in the built environment and those concerned with making a positive impact in product specification, installation, and maintenance. The program is intended to complement existing Parsons degree programs and fulfill continuing education units for professionals (courses qualify for AIA CEUs). Interior Design and Architecture Studies Certificate Interior design and architecture studies courses at Parsons develop students’ sensibilities in space design; decorative arts history courses introduce them to antiques and furnishings. The courses offer students opportunities to go out into the city to visit design showrooms and view influential architecture. This program permits certificate students to complete their two elective requirements in other art and design disciplines, such as graphic design, digital design, fashion design, fashion business, and fine arts.
