THE NEED FOR FOCUS

Two Ultimate Goals My prayer for you as we dive into the Bible is twofold. First, I want to work myself out of a job. I want you to walk away from this study a bit more confident in your ability to focus on the transformational truths of Scripture on your own. Second, I hope you will encounter our God in a deep and meaningful way through these focused 15 minutes. The most important thing about us is what we believe about God, and my prayer is that you will more accurately understand the truths about who He is through your own study of Scripture. As you get to know our glorious God better and better each day, I think you’ll see your actions and attitudes are forever changed—because of who He is.

What You’ll Need A pen to record your study notes and a journal for additional notes and any bonus study work you choose to do. A Bible. If you don’t have one, I recommend investing in a good study Bible. Visit my resources page at KatieOrr.me for solid study Bible suggestions. Both a Greek interlinear Bible and Greek lexicon. There are in-print and free online versions for both. Check out my resources page for links.
