New Hope Community marks its 45th anniversary in 2020. Starting as a for profit private school for people with developmental disabilities on the site of an old Catskill hotel and evolving into a nonprofit organization that offers a myriad of residential, employment, day habilitation and community-based opportunities, is nothing
short of incredible. It is simply amazing what determined minds and spirits can achieve when believing in a common
purpose and goal!
In this FOCUS edition, our New Hope Community President and Board Chair share exciting updates on several projects,
initiatives and accomplishments. I trust you won’t mind if I take this opportunity to add to our story with some
thoughts from my heart.
