Pointers Way Redditch

Together, we make a home Here at Persimmon we build quality properties in superb locations throughout the UK; we never forget that you’re looking for one very special home: yours. Let’s face it, everyone is different. We all have our own idea about what makes an ideal home. At Persimmon we create a huge choice of houses and apartments; that way, you are sure to find something that’s right up your street. Take a look at our range of properties and you’ll discover everything from starter homes to detached family properties, bungalows to spacious three-storey town houses, city centre loft apartments to traditional country retreats. As one of the UK’s premier house builders, we don’t just follow the trends – we set them. That’s why our range of house types are constantly evolving, we continue to create homes that meet the aspirations of homebuyers at every stage of their lives and in every corner of the country.

Persimmon Together we make a home

The Perfect Environment Naturally, you’re looking for a home that’s been developed in harmony with the local environment. We explore the local architecture, if a development is close to a period property or buildings with local character, we try to ensure our homes blend in. Persimmon look to retain and incorporate local landmarks such as trees and lakes to give our developments a special local atmosphere. We even go one step further by planting new trees and creating beautiful landscaping schemes, so that in no time at all our new developments will look as though they’ve been there for ever and a day. Designed in sympathy with the location, we always respect, protect and enhance the environment to ensure a home and lifestyle that’s perfect for you.

You demand the best... Every Persimmon home is built to the highest standards. That way we can be sure you’ll fall in love with your new home from Day One.

At Persimmon we offer you something unique and very special. It’s called our Persimmon Pledge, and it’s your guarantee that your home is built to the most exacting of standards.

Customer Excellence

As you’d expect of such a well-respected national builder, this is no empty promise. We carry out a comprehensive 24-point check on your new home to ensure everything’s just right. From the foundations to the plumbing, we go through everything with a fine-tooth comb to give it our own stamp of approval.

For instance, once you have moved into your new home we’ll provide a courtesy call and a one-month inspection to take care of any snags. Indeed, you’ll also receive a dedicated customer care line number for any issues or questions you may have, along with an invitation to our weekly construction clinic for all new homeowners.

Next, before you even move in, you’ll receive a personal demonstration of your property and all its facilities by an experienced member of our team. From how to operate the security system to the location of the stopcock, we’ll take you through the myriad of things you’ll need to know to feel right at home.

It’s all part of our absolute commitment to customer care where we support you every step of the way.

For added peace of mind, we provide a full emergency cover line number in the event of a service supply failure such as gas, electricity or water. Remember, every new Persimmon home comes complete with a 2-year defect cover and a full 10-year NHBC warranty.

We’ll give you nothing less

You choose an area... Situated in the lively, bustling and historic town of Redditch, Pointers Way is an exciting new development comprising 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes, perfectly located to appreciate all that the town and the surrounding areas in the Heart of England have to offer.

Persimmon Together we make a home

Redditch boasts an interesting historic past dating back as far as the 12th Century when Cistercian Monks are said to have built an Abbey at Bordesley in the Valley of the River Arrow. Over the next three centuries this hamlet of new families which had settled near the abbey became known as ‘La Redditch’. During 1538 much of the community living near the abbey moved to drier land and it’s on this drier plateau that the town centre stands today. The history of Redditch is closely linked to needlemaking, for which it became renowned. By the 19th century it led the field in needle production as well as other metal based trades such as fish hook and spring manufacture a fascinating and sometimes grisly story which is told in depth at the unique Forge Needle Museum. History lovers will delight in the rich cultural tapestry surrounding the town, including Bordesley Abbey – the remains of the former Cistercian Abbey which was later used as a Royal Swannery and now provides an informative visitor centre. Shopping opportunities are abundant in Redditch, including the Kingfisher Shopping Centre - home to over 150 stores and a multi-screen cinema complex. There are also excellent out of town shopping facilities offering residents and visitors a wide choice of groceries, electrical goods, kitchen appliances, computers/technology, discount clothing and DIY.

For those who enjoy the great outdoors the Arrow Valley Country Park will provide hours of recreational activity. Over 900 acres in size, the park has become one of Redditch's greatest green assets. It extends over 2.5 miles from Bordesley Abbey in the north to Washford Mill in the south and incorporates a 29 acre man made lake with excellent fishing facilities – for bream, roach and carp!. The River Arrow meanders through the park providing excellent wildlife habitats and interesting walks for visitors. For even more activity, or for the avid spectator, there are an impressive array of sports facilities in Redditch including swimming pools, sports centres and golf courses. And, being located in the heart of England, you will never be far from professional sport opportunities: be they football in Birmingham, cricket in Worcester or Rugby in Gloucester. Due to its geographical location, Redditch is ideally situated to take advantage of the surrounding areas, with the M42 just a short drive away and easy access to such towns as Bromsgrove and Evesham by dual carriageway and A-roads. There are regular rail services from Redditch to Birmingham New Street and the rest of the UK rail network beyond, while Birmingham International Airport is less than 30 minutes away.

We’ll complement it perfectly
