Devereux Court is located in Woodford Green, a popular part of the North East London suburb of Woodford, on the edge of Epping Forest and Waltham Forest within the London Borough of Redbridge. This pretty development of 21 apartments is centrally situated within half a mile of Woodford town centre and Woodford underground station. The town itself has a number of local amenities which include banks, newsagents, pharmacies, doctors’ surgery and a dentist, as well as a selection of other shops and restaurants.

Conveniently located The area has strong historical links to government. The constituency of Chingford and Woodford Green was represented by Winston Churchill who is commemorated by a statue on the green. Former Prime Minister Clement Attlee also resided in Woodford and is also commemorated by a blue plaque on a house in Monkhams Avenue. Woodford’s transport links make it an ideal place to retire. There are excellent rail connections to the heart of central London, where you can enjoy the capital’s shopping and fine eateries via Woodford London Underground Station. The Freedom Pass scheme gives those of retirement age free travel across the whole underground network plus most of the bus routes throughout London. The development is also accessible by road via the A406 North Circular, the M11 and M25 motorways making it easy for visiting friends and family.
