Student Life

Salt Lake City

We're obsessed with tech. That means there's an excellent chance you'll have a ton in common with just about everyone around you. And that’s why you'll find clubs for League of Legends, Magic the Gathering, and Society of Women Engineers complemented by activities like coding competitions, LAN parties, and gaming tournaments.

During FReX, you and your parents will also have an opportunity to explore the thriving Main Street area of downtown Salt Lake City that surrounds the Neumont campus. The FReX event schedule has extra time built in for you to get to know the city and discover what's available to see, do, and eat, all while staying close to campus.

Student Life Want to know what you are going to like most about FReX? You’ll instantly fit in. FReX attendees are always pleasantly surprised at how friendly and inclusive everyone is at Neumont. At FReX, you’ll get to meet current students and faculty, and participate in our legendary all-things-game student social.

Salt Lake City In downtown SLC, you'll find cafĂŠs, restaurants, shops, street vendors, artists, and more. In this eclectic mix, you'll discover Salt Lake is a friendly city. Chances are you'll meet some of the same people on the slopes or out hiking as you do at the farmers markets and festivals. This balance of small town feel with city amenities is why so many of our students feel like Neumont is a home away from home.

Residence Life & Housing Neumont Student Housing is within walking or biking distance of campus. Typically, freshman students live with three roommates in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a full kitchen. Housing assignments are made with your preferences in mind and who we believe you will get along with based on your Housing Application.
