Rental Information COURTESY CONVENIENCE PACKAGE A Courtesy Convenience Package is provided to jumpstart your vacation with a few essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Be sure to bring, or plan to purchase when you get here, essential household supplies to get you through the week. LINENS AND TOWELS are provided in all rental units except for stays of 5 nights or less. Fresh linens are available during your stay for an additional charge. Should you order additional linens, orders must be placed 14 days prior to arrival. HOUSEKEEPING Your rental unit should be clean when you arrive. Please notify us immediately if you do not find it clean. If we have not heard from you within one hour of your check-in, we will assume you found the unit in acceptable condition. Only departure maid service is included in rental rates. Upon departure, we require that all kitchenware is clean and put away, all trash bagged and placed in outside containers for pick up, and all bed and bath linens collected together in one place. A minimum $40 charge will be billed to the guest if the required guest departure clean is not completed. We also require that all windows and doors are locked and keys returned to Litchfield Real Estate by 10:00 am. There will be a charge of $10 per unreturned key; the guest may be subject to a re-keying fee. An additional clean during your stay is available for an extra charge. Please contact the Litchfield Real Estate office for details. LONG DISTANCE PHONE CALLS must be charged to your credit card or home number. Local phone calls are only Pawleys Island, Georgetown, and Litchfield. You will be charged for any calls other than local calls. MESSAGES, MAIL, AND PACKAGES can be received at our office. Be sure to use the name of the rental unit you will be staying in. For Federal Express or UPS packages, our physical address is 12980 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island, SC 29585. FAXES may be sent to Work Inn - Fax (843) 235-6677 or The UPS Store - Fax (843) 237-7967 NO CAMPERS OR RVs are allowed at any of our rental properties. Motorcycles are not allowed at condo developments. PERSONAL ITEMS LEFT in the unit will be returned. However, a credit card is required to cover a $10 service charge plus the cost of mailing. Items not claimed within 30 days are donated to charity. Litchfield Real Estate cannot accept the responsibility or guarantee the condition of returned items. LOCK-OUTS will be charged a $30.00 lock-out fee should a staff member be called out after hours.

WE CANNOT GUARANTEE APPLIANCES, AIR CONDITIONERS OR SENSITIVE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR THEIR FAILURE. Please report breakdown of appliances or mechanical systems promptly. Guest agrees that Litchfield Real Estate or its agents may enter premises for the purpose of making necessary repairs and/or maintenance, or other necessary purposes. We make every attempt to keep them in working order and any failure will be repaired as quickly as possible. We cannot be liable for changes of equipment and furnishings. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to discontinue occupancy if, in our opinion, the tenancy is detrimental to the property. OWNERS HAVE PRIORITY OVER ALL RENTERS. TENTATIVE RESERVATIONS You have first refusal for the same week next year. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY 5:00 PM THURSDAY. A $100 deposit ($200 oceanfront) can hold your rental for the corresponding week in next year’s season. These reservations are tentative and subject to approval by owners. The deposit is refundable or transferable only if the unit is not available for the requested time period. Once approved a contract will be sent requesting the 50% deposit within 10 days. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. If after 10 days the reservation has not been confirmed, the deposit will be forfeited and the unit will be available for rent to other guests. HURRICANE REFUNDS Refunds are issued only through travel insurance. We strongly recommend travel insurance! For the travel insurance to be in force the area must be under a mandatory evacuation ordered by the Governor. GRILLS Some owners provide grills for their guest’s convenience. If you use a grill, it must be kept away from the house, as this is a fire hazard. Absolutely no grilling on decks or porches. Please be sure you dump the ashes and clean the grill before you leave so the next guest finds it ready for use. OFFICE LOCATION Litchfield Real Estate is located at 12980 Ocean Highway just south of the traffic light in South Litchfield on Highway 17 between The Litchfield Beach Fish House and Salt Marsh Cove.
