ROLL FOR GOOD
CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING

A feel-good experience that helps reduce textile waste – and brings your team closer together

LOOKING FOR A MEANINGFUL WAY TO REWARD YOUR STAFF, GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, AND STRENGTHEN YOUR VALUES-DRIVEN CULTURE?

A hands-on, purpose-led corporate volunteering experience created by The Nest Community.

WHERE CREATIVITY MEETS COMMUNITY, AND YOUR TEAM GETS TO BE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER—TOGETHER.

We are a purpose-led organisation based in South East Queensland, with a mission to connect women purposefully through craft. Our work brings together community, creativity, and care for people and the planet.
At the heart of our impact is The Nest Haberdashery, a circular economy initiative where preloved sewing and craft supplies are lovingly sorted and made ready for reuse
Our volunteer team skilled craftswomen from all walks of life breathe new life into donated materials, helping reduce waste while reviving old skills and creating new connections
In 2025, we were honoured to receive:
SRJ Walker Wayland Award for Not-For-Profit Excellence
UniSC Award for Environment & Sustainability Excellence — at the Moreton Bay Business and Innovation Awards.

At The Nest Community, we believe the solution starts with care: care for our resources, care for our communities, and care for the stories woven into every piece of fabric
When your team joins a Roll For Good session, they’re helping to reduce waste, support circular resource use, and play a small but powerful part in a movement that values people and materials equally

HOW IT WORKS

Your team will spend the day rolling donated fabric, preparing it for recirculation through our social enterprise, The Nest Haberdashery. It’s simple, calming work that encourages collaboration, conversation, and connection.

TEAM BUILDING WITH HEART
Your team will work side-by-side toward a common goal, naturally building connection through collaboration (and a little friendly competition - who can roll the most?)
