Ideation Concepts that meet passenger needs such as providing information and personal space have been developed.


Mock-ups Sitting, standing, holding, leaning options and product form were studied.

Finalization Characteristic lines, interior design and comfortable travel provided make for an unusual and memorable design.

The side surface lighting, which provides information about the direction of the bus and increases nighttime visibility, follows the line of windows and makes it remarkable.


Mock-ups Design concept was ergonomically developed with models and scaled drawings and the grip height was adjusted to meet the needs of each user.

Usage Scenario

At the end of the flight passengers are met by the atonomous They can see the weather and flight information on the bus, Voyage. outdoor display of the bus.

Handrail can be held by many passengers with it’s rotational design.

Passengers travel safely by holding handles hanging from the handrails. Handles are durable and ergonomically designed.

Handrail supports the hygiene of passengers and provides hangers for bags during the ride.

Passengers can place their luggage to specialized surface under handrails.

They get on the bus through the doors that are wide Seats are positioned conveniently close to doors, seated passengers place luggage under seats enough for large groups.

Passengers lean to assigned surfaces, place their luggages behind where they lean.

Information screen provide passengers what they need o know about; destinationcity, flight, transfer info and such.

Voyage offers passengers handrails with different height options and passengers can place their luggage to specialized surfaces under handrails.

Getting off the Voyage after reaching the airport gates.

Home Based e-Health Device for Elderly Offers opportunity to be treated with clinical pilates under physiotherapist supervision at homes of elderly patients who has physical illnesses such as osteoporosis, scoliosis and hernia. .


Research

Physiotherapist should observe and demonstrate the exercise.

Physical diseases, treatment methods and habits of the user group and life style were investigated.

Pulse, oxygen saturation and blood pressure should be measured and values should be monitored during exercise by a professional.

Ability of elderly people should be considered. Users should be motivated to make exercise regularly.

It was observed that the patients had difficulty in exercising regularly, monitoring their medications, and frequently having access to the hospital.

Idea Generation A product was developed to provide elderly patients clinical pilates in their homes to help treat physical diseases such as hernia and osteoporosis.

Since it was decided to use television for viewing, the screen of the product was shrunk. The wearable measuring instrument was turned into a wristband. The base, which was designed as a charging station at the same time as the wrist strap and the display, was revised.

Electric Oven Sous Chef makes it possible to divide cooking process into several phases without physical effort thanks to its moving trays.

Problems with storage of extra trays, adjustment of baking time, change of setting, opening of lid when checking were observed.

The baking process, the duration, the position of the tray, the baking mode and the grade were divided into adjustable sections and baking models with a compartment inside were studied to store the trays.

Sink for Primary School Designed to be placed in primary schools, the basin makes a difference by providing different settlement possibilities and encouraging children to cleanliness.


Observation Observation and research on children's experiences during hand washing and brushing teeth was done.

Brushing teeth and washing hands routines were observed.

Needs, requests and product form were worked on with user goup.

Ideation Modeling was done for the first ideas. Designs that enhance children's interaction were studied.

The first models were inspected by the children. The design was revised in the direction of observations and interpretations.


Finalization

Soap dispencer that fixed on the sink gives feedback on the amount of soap that the user should use by changing the light.

The wash basins, which can be placed in the middle of the school toilet to allow them to see each other while washing their hands, also offer different layout options.

The product family, designed with ease of use and sorting, also facilitates experiences such as repairs and installation.

In the last stage of the design process, ceramic models were made by shaping the mud.

Between the two washbasins there is a connecting element which holds the garbage, tissue and toothbrush kit.


Layout Binary Placement The sinks can be placed in the middle in pairs.

Triple Placement Three sinks can be combined by connecting two intermediate elements to each sink.

The number and arrangement of sinks can be adjusted according to the structure and the needs of the school toilet.


Perf-Fit

Running Shoe The surface of the shoe is swollen by the pressure created during running and covers the foot. It provides a comfortable and healthy running experience.


Finalization Perf-fit perfectly matches the foot. The impact on the ball during running provides air pumping on the top of the shoe and foot wrapping of the shoe.

As a result of the research and interviews the running shoe had a tight grip and a personalized base. Then the process continued with form development.

Details

The upper part maden of microfibre mesh. It is breathable and flexible.

The air-sole in the EVA midsole provides shock absorption and cushioning while also pumping air through the upper channels by taking advantage of the effect created during running.

After running the Perf-fit is easily restored by pressing the button on the side for air release.

The plastic structure on the shoe is swollen due to the impact on the air cushion on the heel when the run begins. It provides perfect fit. The covering layer protects it from ultraviolet rays and external factors and extends the life of the product. Layers are glued together by hyperfuse method.

Insoles are produced from EVA in the CNC machines as appropriate for each customers as a result of tests and measurements.

Blown rubber outsole is durable and flexible. The pressure control valve stops pumping air when the upper part is sufficiently swelled as running continues

Research According to interviews and observations, the problem of evacuating the garbage bin and the importance of the durability have been identified. Structure and details of current models are analyzed

Ideation Structural studies were carried out. The samples were evaluated for durability and ergonomics.

The trash box design was studied on the basis of the usage scenario. Sketches and models were made to study the structure supporting elements and form.

Moon

Steel door with led light The Moon door model aims to reduce user problems and provide ease of use. Modern and elegant design makes it desirable.


Ideation Sketches and models were made on the ridges of the door, the handle, the lock shapes and the functional features of the door.

Inspiration The focus was on facilitating the use of the door in the dark during product design. Inspired by moonlight.

The logo of the model comes from the pattern created by the lines on the product

Hot Melt Gun Conveniently designed for hobby use, the hot melt gun provides a comfortable experience for the user with easy handling and ergonomic grip.


Details The inner part of the silicon gun is designed for use easily. The mechanism that pushes the silicone forward is placed above the gun and attached to a button.

Bazaar Stand Designed to be easily installed and disassembled in a short time and to protect the user and products from adverse weather conditions.


Construction

The stand consists of 4 feet, 3 structural intermediate elements and tent. These parts are made of pine wood and metal fittings.

The structure consisting of similar parts can be set up by a few people in a short time and stored in a small area.

This 3 meter high stand was designed to be installed and removed by 2 people in 5 minutes.

The legs of one side are constructed.

The connection element is attached.

Other side is completed.

Tent is attached.


Details Metal fasteners provide easy assembling. It is durable and protects the wooden structure.
