Museum: it is here where visitors can examine the writing process and interact with the book manufacturing process in order to fully understand the story of a book. Existing Glass Manufacturer: this will remain to help promote local industries and encourage creativity.

Cafe / Restaurants: providing the public with suitable recreational facilities will help reinforce the overall masterplan and ensure everyone is catered for. Theatre: not only will this provide a platform for the travelling writer’s to promote their work but it will also provide the local community with a valuable resource. Writer’s Retreat: a place to promote literature at all levels. Accommodation for travelling writer’s allowing them to focus during the writing process and a place for them to interact with like-minded individuals.

Library: two of every book produced within the printing press will be archived within the library. The library will also have a large collection of books available to the public.

Paper / Ink Production: home to the printing press. This part of the monastery will be dedicated to the production of books.

Log Store: the new building will house all the materials needed for the production of ink and paper. It will also incorporate multi- functional units that can be used all year round.
