Dear Friends, As I am preparing this month’s newsletter, I am eagerly awaiting the change of the seasons, which has apparently just begun. With the Fall upon us, that means the beginning of holiday planning and more special events. That being said, it’s very exciting to be able to update you on what’s new at our Chamber. Our first Multi-Chamber Networking Event was held at the Bristal with great attendance and enthusiasm. Susan Martin, who chairs the Networking Committee, promises to bring us more opportunities to meet and mingle with our business colleagues and develop new relationships to help us grow our businesses. A special thank you to the Bristal at Massapequa for making their beautiful facility available to our membership, and especially Executive Director Jennifer Amarante for all of her assistance in organizing this great event. In addition, our Businessperson of the Year, Karen Gawrych, was recognized this Friday at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Our Board of Directors proudly joined with the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce to celebrate Karen’s many accomplishments - both
