latter enthralled the audience with an elaborate routine featuring bicycles, set to the music of Queen. The Bucs went on to win 42-13, led by Patrick Mai (highlighted by a 51yard interception return and a 56-yard punt return, both touchdowns) and Joe Juengerkes (rushing for 81 yards and a TD on 10 carries).

MARCONI LODGE #2232 50TH ANNIVERSARY - Assemblyman Mike LiPetri (R-Massapequa) recently honored the 50th Anniversary of Marconi Lodge #2232. From a colorful parade down Main Street to a fantastic football game, Islip’s homecoming on Sept. 21 was a testament to a community’s strong sense of pride and superlative school spirit. Clad in purple, students from every district school building marched alongside TOWN RECOGNIZES HISPANIC HERITAGE - Islip Town Supervisor Angie parents, educators, board Carpenter along with members of the Town Board, paid tribute to the men and women members, new Hall of of Hispanic heritage who elevate the lives of others either through their work or their volunteerism in the Town of Islip. “Congratulations to our honorees of Hispanic Heritage,” said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “You have given of yourselves in order to improve the lives of others professionally, personally, socially and artistically. You are truly deserving of this recognition,” added Supervisor Carpenter. Receiving awards are (l. to r.)
