13. Joel-Peter Witkin is a cult American photographer who often deals with such themes as death, corpses and various outsiders such as dwarfs, transsexuals, hermaphrodites, and physically deformed people. Witkin's complex tableaux often recall religious episodes or famous classical paintings.
14. Boris Mikhailov is the only living representative of the post Soviet Union in the world photography. Mikhailov can be considered as the inventor of such direction in photography as trash. With a view of the artist and the ability to penetrate into different social groups, he creates a unique series. He is a laureate of the Hasselblad Award (2000).
