Synopsis Nelly and her dog London is about to spend the fall vacation with her uncle Hannibal. What she thought to be an ordinary fall vacation turns out to be something extraordinary. It turns out that Hannibal does not live the quiet life she thought - he is a monster agent! - the kind who has responsibility for keeping monsters and ghosts where they should be. She discovers a new world full of monsters, vampires and ghosts and embarks on an adventure where everything she once believed to be true is challenged.

NELLY RAPP - MONSTER AGENT had its national theatrical release in cinemas October 23, 2020 in Sweden and has been a box office success. The film received five nominations at the Swedish Film Award Guldbaggen and won two awards for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup.

Biography Amanda Adolfsson
Director
AMANDA ADOLFSSON (born 16/1 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden) has a BA in film directing from Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. After graduation Amanda made the short “Spending the night” screened at the Berlinale 2008. Her debut feature “Young Sophie Bell”, which she co-wrote was released in cinemas in Sweden 2015. Felice Jankell was nominated at Sweden’s leading film awards Guldbaggen for
Best Female Actor, for her performance as Sophie.
In recent years, Amanda has directed TV-series such as the drama comedy ”Bonusfamiljen” for SVT, the youth drama ”Eagles” for SVT and the crime series ”Bäckström” för TV4/ CMORE. Nelly Rapp – Monster Agent is her 2nd feature film.

Biography
Jon Nohrstedt
Producer Jon Nohrstedt is the producer behind three of Sweden’s alltime most seen animation films. He has been working for SF Studios since 2011 and produced and co-produced TV series and feature films. One of Jon’s projects include “Borg vs. McEnroe” starring Sverrir Gudnason, Shia LaBeouf and StellanSkarsgård, which was sold all over the world and opened the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017. Recently, he has produced the animated film “Pelle No-Tail” and the children film “Nelly Rapp – Monster Agent”. Jon was awarded the Gullspira Children’s Award at the 2021 Guldbagge Awards for his contribution to Swedish children’s film.

Niklas Larsson
Producer Niklas Larsson has been a producer for SF Studios since 2010. As a producer, Niklas has worked on a variety of projects spanning several genres such as the Swedish TV-award nominated animated series “Saga’s Stories”, the crime series “Alex”, children’s film “Nelly Rapp – Monster Agent” and the upcoming Netflix thriller “Red Dot”. Before producing for SF Studios, Niklas produced, wrote and directed comedy series for some of Sweden’s biggest broadcasters.
