March - September, 2014 let it ignite your passions let it transform your lifestyle let it break your heart for what breaks His heart let us pray

interceding for north carolina yearly meeting through petition and prayer. for everyone, by everyone

Introduction As we enter into a time of intercession and personal reflection, it is our hope that you will be enlightened and energized through the work of the holy spirit as he prompts you. You will notice, there are different focuses for each day of the week. weekdays focus on our Monthly Meetings while Sundays focus on our yearly meeting committees, programs, and ministries. Saturdays will touch more personal issues such as our own character and walk with Christ, as well as, the things surrounding us that we are called to be a part of and to influence. we encourage you to spend time on each topic considering what it means for you personally and how you may be called to respond. there is a page after each month for you to make notes.

You will get out of it what you put into it. we encourage you to eagerly pursue, discover more, and be active in your times of prayer.

let it ignite your passions. let it transform your lifestyle. let it break your heart for what breaks His heart. let us pray.

Recommended Reading Who Stole My Church by Gordon MacDonald The People Called Quakers by Elton Trueblood

“When we begin to pray for another, we begin to know and to understand and to cherish him or her as never before... We also begin to realize that such prayer does not come cheaply, and we get a hint of what someone meant when she spoke of‘the crucible of divine love’.” Dimensions of Prayer by Douglas V. Steere
