Navy leads the league in assists, the first time the program has accomplished the feat. Players receiving a starting assignment for the first time in their respective careers account for 70 percent of Navy’s starts on the year (105 of 150) and 83.4 percent of starts in league games (59 of 70).

In her initial season on The Yard, led Navy to its first winning season in six years, its highest league placement (T3rd) in 10 years and just its second victory in the Patriot League Tournament since 1999. The Mids improved their victory total by nine games from the 2007-08 season. That is the largest improvement in the number of wins from one season to the next in school history. Navy also tied for 13th place in the NCAA during the 2008-09 season for the largest improvement by any team in the country. Navy’s third-place finish in the 2010 league standings is the highest placement for the Mids since finishing in third place in 1999. Has led Navy to wins in the Patriot League Tournament in both of her two years. It is the first time Navy has won games in the league championship in consecutive seasons since a run of sixstraight years from 1994-99.

Angela Myers was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year in the Patriot League, while also earning Second-Team All-Patriot League honors. Navy posted its longest league winning streak (5 games) in 11 years, a stretch that included victories at Holy Cross, at Army and at American. The Mids played a league-high 23 games that were decided by 10 points or less (14-9 record in those games).

In addition to garnering first-team allleague honors, Angela Myers won her second-straight league defensive playerof-the-year accolade. Chey Arvin was named to the league’s all-rookie team. Navy posted season sweeps of Holy Cross (first time), Bucknell (first since 1998) and Army (first since 2003). Cassie Consedine broke the school record for career blocked shots and scored the 1,000th point of her career. Navy broke its own school record (6.32) with an average of 7.68 threepoint FGM a game, while breaking the school (191) and league (196) marks with 238 three-point field goals made.
