Last year, we discovered Nature’s Bakery who makes these really delicious fig bars with all natural ingredients! Think "fig newtons" only natural and in a wide variety of flavors including Apple Cinnamon, Raspberry, Peach, and Blueberry. Plus they're affordable and convenient. Each package comes with 2 little fig bars inside--the perfect size for carrying around in your purse or diaper bag.... or putting in your kiddo's lunchbox! Definitely a healthy alternative to chips or cookies. My kiddos don't attend public school (they're homeschooled) but we often take field trips and go to weekly groups where we need to pack lunches.
