Workbook investigation General Issues Text areas are filled with spaces so if the learner does not delete these spaces they could have large overruns. This could also push the text area away from the question. We could reduce the spaces to 4 to reduce the size of each area and house the questions inside. Assessment sheets at the end of some documents need page breaks to stop the content from being split over two pages. Assessment sheet asks for learners signature on the document. May want to remove the assessment sheets altogether? Feedback sheets need re-making as the learner cant type into them. Or we could remove them? Text formatting is inconsistent, some text areas have underlined text, others have smaller text. Not a massive issue.

PLTS The workbook has hidden formatting at the bottom and could possibly do with a second look.

501/1136/X – L2 Cert in Supporting Teaching in Schools 201: Blank 2nd page, not able to input text in table on page 7, re-sizing table to add more text on page 8 throws off tables after. 202: Q’s 5/6/7/9/10/11/12/13/14 could have dedicated text areas. Page break should be added for assignment feedback area. 203: Q 3/4 text area is thrown off when pushed down. All text areas only allow a specific amount of text, the learner would have to enlarge the text area themselves when writing. Random text areas under Q 12. 204: Dedicated text areas may help. 205: Title page is slightly off. Most text areas need manually re-sizing if they go over. Q4 + Q6 + Q7 + Q10 text area won’t let them type in it so text appears outside the text box. Typing in Q9 pushed Q10 text down. 206: Learner can’t type their name, text is pushed onto next line. Q1 + Q2 + Q3 + Q5 + Q6 + Q8 + Q12 + Q14 + Q15 + Q16 + Q17 text area won’t let them type in it so text appears outside the text box. Q4 the learners need to re-size the text areas manually to type more text. Q7 may need some text explaining how to mark their selections. 208: All text areas need manually re-sizing if more text entered. Blank page at the end. 209: Q2 + Q3 + Q4 + Q5 text areas do not allow typing. 210: Q1 + Q2 + Q4 text area won’t let them type inside it. Q3 text areas need manually re-sizing. Entering text into Q4 pushes question text for Q5 down. Many blank pages at the bottom of the document. 213: Dedicated text areas may help.
