Full description of the project you can find by this link Through the XX century, Marvila has changed its identity several times: an agricultural suburb of Lisbon, an industrial hub of Portugal, a criminal isolated area, a new place of interest for local hipsters. An idea of the community was lost through all of this transformations. The community center is an answer to this problem. The project creates a dialogue with all the identities of the area while helping the locals to form the community, that has been lost before. Apart from this, it serves to attract tourism in the area.

Those who use architecture are not the ones who pay for it. The building in the central Milano, once used by Camera di Commercio, is turned into a package of a single brand - an idea which is equally attracting for the investor, user and a client. The building used by a single brand creates an experience and works with the modern concept of shopping. The eight-floor building provides a variety of functions: retail, coworking, office, atelier, hotel, restaurant - all of them combined into a single brand package; allowing the client to experience and interact with the brand on different levels.

Hidden city

Hidden city

Type | Academic, 2018 Tutor | S. Giostra, E. Cattaneo Location | Castellucio di Norcia, IT

Multidisciplinary research suggests that building underground in the seismic zones is the safest choice. Castelluccio di Norcia is situated in the wrong place - on top of the hill in the seismic area. Because of its location, it was destroyed in the earthquake in October 2016, however, the place remains to be the attraction spot of the area. The project of the hidden city suggests using the potential of Castelluccio while removing the dangerous factor - to build the underground cells connected into the clusters. Hidden underground cells work perfectly with an environment.

Full description of the project you can find by this link People were leaving the city of Norcia for a long time now. The earthquakes of 2016 damaged the landscapes and urban fabric of Norcia, forcing even more people to move away. This project suggests restoring the common ground by creating a network of interventions: agricultural school, greenhouse and farmhouse. The agricultural school works with the locals educating them about their land and history, farmhouse promotes slow tourism, the greenhouse exhibits agriculture for locals and tourists.

The website of the architectural studio Following images are the photos of realised projects where I participated in the position of junior architect. In St. Nicholas historical apartments project I was responsible for drafting, 3D-sketching and modelling, making estimates of the costs, working on the details (design of the reception desk, ornament elevators, tiles placing), working with the producer of materials. In Nabokov apartments project I was responsible for creating concepts for public interiors using 3D-sketching and furniture design research.

The website of the architectural studio During my internship I worked on different projects and tasks: from carrying out the measurements for a 3D model to architectural supervision. For the new office of Croce Rossa, I helped to design concepts, worked on 3D models and researched furniture to choose for the office layout. For the project of the interior of an apartment, I created various 3D models for the discussion with clients and contributed to designing of the new furniture.
