The kindergarten aims to educate children of the 21st century through fun and creative ways with the use of both technology and hands on activities. The teaching method used is play-based learning, which is inspired by the philosophy of kindergarten’s founding father, Freidrich Froebel. The design concept of Froebel Kindergarten is inspired by the ‘Six Dimensions of Contrast’ by Dr. Anita Rui Olds, who is a Harvard Professor specializing in Child Care Design. These ‘contrast’ can be integrated into children’s space to stimulate excitement and the curiousity in children in order to help them learn and experience different atmosphere.
