ATB FINANCIAL bank project


This project was a part of the design competition sponsored by ATB and co-sponsored by Kasian Architecture for NAIT students. The building design was inspired by the idea of “Connectivity of the bank to its customers�. It is 5-storey Steel structure mix use building proposed for downtown Edmonton. Various tools like Revit & SketchUp were used for 3D modeling. Adobe Photoshop was used to edit and enhance the renderings.

rear perspective view The ATB bank building was modeled using SketchUP. Additional sun & shadow techniques were implemented for site study. Different sustainable strategies were implemented to reduce environmental impact.

ATB FINANCIAL project

At the bank reception, a living wall has been added to enhance the indoor living environment promoting green building spaces. Warm toned colors were chosen to promote soft environment for the employees. This project aimed to teach different design techniques & steps involved from schematic to final design of a building.

It is a single storey residential building. It was modeled in Revit by using new skills & techniques during the second semester of the Architectural Technology Diploma. The 3D renderings were done using I-Render.

is 2 storey steel structure office facility designed and modelled using Revit during the last semester of the diploma programme. This project aimed to explore different structural elements and tools offered by Revit. The views were rendered using I-Render in cloud and were enhanced with Adobe Photoshop.

NAIT DORMITORY

NAIT Dormimtory project aimed to create a set of construction drawings for a proposed 3-storey, concrete structure, mix use dormitory for NAIT students. The design for the project was completed during the second semester of the diploma. The following semesters were dedicated towards creating the construction drawings. The complete set of construction drawings was created using AutoCAD.

The NAIT Dormitory has some custom mill-work base cabinets installed the bedrooms. Shown here are the details, elevations, and sections of those custom made base cabinetry.


net zero energy project


net zero house: This residential wood framed house is designed to be a netzero building, as a part of the Sustainable Building Technologies Course during the last semester .The purpose was to learn sustainable design techniques like passive design, R-value calculations and Integrated Design Process. This residential building was modeled using Revit.
