About me

My name is Miguel González, I’m an Industrial Design Engineer by Elisava University, Barcelona. By choosing an industrial design education I have found a way to combine my interests and also a meaningful way to express myself. I’m curious about people, how things work and how we can get the most out of each other. I enjoy exploring how design can appeal to a variety of our senses in addition to solving a need in the in the simplest way possible. I’m always enthusiastic for learning more and continue my trainining as a designer, I am a lifelong learner.

COMPONENTS

PRODUCT LOOP is a little gadget thought to connect electrical devices when it is not possible to obtain electricity by the usual ways. It has a special resistance and protections designed in order to allow carrying it when we do sport or go to the mountain with no danger of damage.

ASSEMBLIES

When the device starts to rotate a toothed gear system generates engergy with a dynamo. The dynamo stored the electricity in batteries.

The Loop has four assemblies in order to fix the two housings. The assemblies are dovetailing, each one has both a male and a female part.

The device has also an USB output connector.

There is a belt to prevent the batteries movement. 15

S.U.T Shared Urban Transport

The objective was to create a product which covers a basic field, the co-using. In this way is developed Shared Urban Transport; a proposal intended to substitute the public and private transport in Barcelona.

CHARACTERISTICS Compressed air motor, that means: maximum speed of 105 km/h, 300 km of autonomy, expulsed air of 0º-15ºC, and a cost of 0,50 €/100 km.

INSIDE

PRODUCT S.U.T is a two-seater vehicle, with the option of a third seat or loading small items.It preserves the main features of actual cars, such as pedals and steering wheel, but driving is mainly non-manual. It has a customizable interface on the steering wheel and on the control panel. 24
