LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
”Underwater magnet” Prepare: magnet clip glass with water Execution: 1. Put the paper clip into the water 2. Place the magnet on the outer wall, where the metal object lies. 3. Move magnet along the glass. What will happen? The magnet will attract metal objects that will move behind it, going even beyond the surface of the water. Why? The magnet's attraction force also works through glass and water.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
Experiment
MATERIALS: 1. Regular orange 2. Peeled orange 3. Deep bowl or pitcher of water One of these oranges will sink and one will float. Drop each orange into the water separately. While the orange with the peel is certainly heavier, it will float while the peeled orange sinks. This is because the orange rind retains air. The air bubbles give the orange a lower density than the surrounding water, causing it to float.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT
SWEET RAINBOW
Materials: plastic dish, M&Ms and water. We put different colours of M&Ms in a plastic dish. Carefully we pour water and wait a moment. Little by little a rainbow appears. Take care and don´t move the plastic dish or the table during the experiment. María Ascensión Jiménez Lizán
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN Experiment
Onion Experiment /How Clean is aWatter ? Materials onions, water from different areas, ( Tap water,
water in a bottle , mineral water (without CO2), rain water or snow water, water from a brook, lake, river.., other type if you found it‌)
jars or cups (same size)
Put each onion into a glass of a different type of water. Observe how onions grow. The one with the longest roots grows in a cleanest water.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
Experiment Magic BUBBLES
Materials: o bowls o water o dish soap o ink o straws o paper circles
Pour the water into the bowls. Add soap and ink to water. Stir well. Immerse the straw and blow the air into it. Lay the paper circles on the bubbles. Hooray! Here are the colored bubbles :)
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
For this experiment we used two vessels. In first was cold water, in second was hot water. To vessel with cold water we puted pipe with ink. Ink made a „pictures“ in this water. We puted this same pipe with ink to hot water. It didn´t change colour, but when we poured vinegar, it changed on blue too, meyby was more blue than first one. After few hours we discovered, that both liquids changed colour again and back to started colour.

Sea in bottle
Materials:
bottle water ink oil funnel cup
We add color ink to the water. We mix it properly. Using the funnel we carefully pour the water into the half of the bottle. We add oil to the edge of the bottle and close the bottle tightly. We are watching "sea" waves and we are happy!
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
”Ghost balloon in the bottle” Prepare: 1. Empty bottle 2. Balloon 3. Straw Execution: 1. Put the balloon into the bottle and try to inflate it (it will not work) 2. Now put a straw in the bottle next to the balloon and try to inflate it again. What will happen? It will manage to inflate the balloon .... Why? There is also some air in the open, seemingly empty bottle. When you try to inflate the balloon, it will completely close the opening of the neck of the bottle and the air contained in the bottle will not be able to get out. For this reason, you will not be able to inflate the balloon. Only when you let the air escape from the bottle through the straw, you can inflate the balloon and fill the surface depending on the shape of the bottle.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT NEW COLOURS Materials: plastic dishes, paint brushes aand different colours of finger painting or temperas. We mixed two colours of finger painting in a plastic dish and we stir them in order to find a new colour: Yellow + blue = green. Yellow + red = orange. Blue + red = violet.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT (Weight of the liquids)
MATERIALS 1. WATER 2.COLOURING 3.ALCOHOL. 4.OIL 5.HONEY
WORk PLAN 1. Firstly, put the honey in a container 2. Later add alcohol in the contain. 3. After that add colored water 4. Finally, add the oil. 5. . 6. Finally, you can see that the stem that you have cut has different colours.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
Experiment
MATERIALS: 1. Plate or bowl 2. Water – Medium temperature tap water 3. Skittles - You could also use M&M’s Place your Skittles in a circle. Once you have completed the circle add in medium temperature water in the middle. Make sure you add enough to go right to the edge of the candy on both sides. Wait thirty seconds to see the colors begin to come out. The color will start dissolving away from the shell once you add in the warm water.
Have fun!
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN The Newton disc is a well-known physics experiment with a rotating disc with segments in different colors (usually Newton's primary colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet) appearing as white (or off-white or gray) when it spins very fast. We tried to spin disc with coloured rainbow in stripes and dots drowen in a spiral. We saw a rainbow stripes. When we spined disc splited in to the triangles: in turns blue and yellow, we saw green colour, in turns red and yellow, we saw orange colour. At least we tried „right“ Newton disc with six colours: yellow, red, violet, blue, light blue adn green. We had to see white disc, but we saw light grey. It is probably becouse we didin´t use orange colour in our disc. In film you will see probably disc with all colours,i tis becouse human eye isn´t perfect and it doesn´t see, what lens of camera can see.

LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN MYSZKÓW/POLAND
Wandering water A water wandering experiment is an interesting experience that requires a little patience from the child. We've prepared 6 glasses of similar height for fun. We pour water into every second, then add dye or water with tissue paper. We put towels folded into striped paper into prepared glasses. The first reactions, i.e. staining and wetting of paper towels, are noticeable quite quickly. It took a while ... We checked every few minutes how much water has moved. Then we poured water and watched the colors that came from mixing ...
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT COLD-HOT Materials: plastic gloves, water, a cup, freezer and microwave. On the one hand, we fill a glove with water and we touch it. Later we put it in the freezer. A few hours later or a day after, we touch it and we speak about the differences. We let the glove outside the freezer and pupils will notice changes. On the other hand, we fill a cup with water and we put it in the microwave during 50 seconds or a minute. Carefully we touch the cup (not water).
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT ( Abstract milk)
MATERIALS 1. MILK 2.COLOURING 3. SOAP
WORL PLAN 1. Put milk with colorant. 2. Later put Soap. 3. Finally, you have a very abstract picture.

Experiment
Rainbow effect
Materials:
cardboard ring color paper
glue old marker
scissors
We cut the carton circle and triangles from the color paper. On the carton circle, we draw guideline to stick color triangles. On backside of the circle, we stick the old marker pen. We wait until glue dries. We put the marker between palms and spin out the circle. Colors are suddenly mixed up.
Have a good fun!
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN LAVA LAMP OR COLOURED BUBBLES We put soda to vessel. Next we poured cooked oil. At least we gave some drops food colors. Drops stayed on the surface of oil. The carbon dioxide bubbles attach themselves to the blobs of colored water and cause them to float to the surface. When the bubbles pop, the color blobs sink back to the bottom of the bottle.

Floating egg
Materials: egg glass bowl water salt spoon We pour water into the glass container. Put the egg in the water. We see what's going on. The egg falls to the bottom. We'll remove the egg from the container. Add salt to water. Dissolve the salt and add egg to the water. Eggs float on the surface.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT COLORED CELLULOSE
Materials: cellulose (from diapers), water, alluminium foil, differents coloring food, plastic cups and something to stir it. In 4 cups we mix water and coloring food and we stir it. In 4 pieces of alluminium foil we mix the cellulose with the previous mix. Cellulose grows with our mix.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
Experiment What is floating and what is sinking? Material: a bigger container water, different objects from different materials.
Put objects in the water and observe which object float and which one sink. Why?
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT (Dragon snot)
MATERIALS 1.OXYGENATED WATER 2.COLOURING 3.SOAP 4.WATER 5.YEAST
WORL PLAN 1. Put oxygenated water with colorant and soap. 2. After that put de water and yeast. 3. Merge it all. 4. Finally you have “Dragon snot”
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN "One more tornado " Prepare: - water - food coloring or ink - a tall jar - spoon Execution: 1. Pour water into ž cup 2. Mix the top layer of water so that it rotates very quickly. 3. Add a few drops of dye or ink to the center of the vortex. What will happen? The swirl funnel will appear Why? The air in the tornado moves in the same way as the dyed aquatic swirl hopper. The tornado's whirlwind starts high in the air. It consists of winds spiraling down.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN We put plain baking soda inside our volcano. In a second bowl, we combined the vinegar, dish soap and food coloring. The baking soda reacts with the vinegar to produce a gas: carbon dioxide. The gas builds up enough pressure to force the liquid out of the top of the bottle. The bubbles from the soap help carry the mixture down over the sides of the volcano.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT THE STATIC ELECTRICTY MATERIALS *Balloon *Paper Butterfly
WORK PLAN -Blow up a balloon and rub it in your hair to give it electricity charge. Now hold the balloon on top of your butterfly close enough and watch the wings raise and lower as you move the balloon closer and farther away.
-Our hair looses electrons that are gained by the balloon giving it a static charge. When negatively charged balloon gets close to the positively charged tissue paper they are attracted to each other, and so tissue paper moves towards the balloon.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN Myszków/Poland
”Deformation through ice” Products needed: - crushed ice - a plastic bottle with a screw cap How to prepare: 1. Put crumbled ice into a bottle and turn it off. 2. Shake the bottle well so that the walls cool down. Put the bottle horizontally on the table. What will happen? The bottle will shrink and deform. Why? The ice cools the air in the bottle and therefore the bottle shrinks and reduces its volume. The air from the outside presses against the walls of the bottle and deforms it.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT
Life Cycle Bean Plant Bean plants provide a variety of experiences dealing with plants and the plant kingdom.
Material: 1. 4 glass jars 2. beans 3. paper towels
Tear paper towels into jars. Then drop a few beans in (seed). In the first jar, make all the optimal condition for growth – water, light, heath. Second jar – take away light (we putted a jar in a cupboard, closet. Third jar – take away heat – we put it on a window shelf. 4tzh jar take away water.
Observe how the plant is growing.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
Experiment How plants absorb water (and nutrients) up through their stems.
MATERIALS: 1. Chinese cabbage 2. Water 3. Food coloring 4. Clear glass jars, cups or small clear vase Fill the glass with water. Into each glass a few drops of food color. Then place a separate cabbage leaf in each glass. Children do the observation and assume what happens to the cabbage leaf because it lives in color water. As the leaves of cabbage drink the water they will magically change color.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT MIXING THE COLORS MATERIALS *Water *Glass *Paper
WORK PLAN -The three primary colors are red, yellow, and blue; they are the only colors that cannot be made by mixing two other colors. The three secondary colors are green, orange, and purple; they are each a mixture of two primary colors. Their hue is halfway between the two primary colors that were used to mix them. -We put papers into the glass. Later we add some water into the glass. -and we sight. red + yellow = orange blue + yellow =green red + blue =purple

LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN
Winter Experiment „ICE HANDS“
MATERIALS: 1. Latex gloves 2. Water 3. Food coloring 4.Twine 5.Shallow baking pan - Fill a glove with water. - Leave yourself a couple of inches at the top because you’re going to have to twist it shut. - Add a drop or two of food colouring, and shake the glove to disperse the colour. - Gloves tightly and firmly fastened with twine - If outside temps are cold enough, place the gloves outside or place the pan with the gloves in freezer overnight The trick to minimizing any casualties is to run the gloved hand under a bit of water, and very gently slide the glove off. You have to take your time when you’re working on the fingers. You may have to dribble a little water into the glove, but be careful not to melt the fingers with the water.
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN EXPERIMENT 5 A Baloon rocket 1 balloon (round ones will work, but the longer “airship” balloons work best) 1 long piece of kite string 1 plastic straw, tape
What to do Tie one end of the string to a chair, door knob, or other support. Put the other end of the string through the straw. Pull the string tight and tie it to another support in the room. Blow up the balloon (but don’t tie it.) Pinch the end of the balloon and tape the balloon to the straw as shown above. You’re ready for launch.
Let go and watch the rocket fly!
LET’S EXPERIENCE AND LEARN For this experiment we used a juice from red cabbage. We made it by pouring hot water to red cabbage pieces and next we strained it. Clear juice had a violet colour. Next we poured cabbage juice to weater with vinegar. It coloured on the light red. We poured „juice“ to coca cola. It changed colour for dark red.Next we poured to water with soap, witch coloured on the light blue. We poured our „juice“ to milk, it coloured on blue too. The last one was a tee, which we drink every day at kindergarten. It changed on a light red. Red cabbage contains a water-soluble pigment called flavin which is an anthocyanin. Anthocynins can also be found in apple skins, grapes, poppies and plums; and it changes colour with the pH (or acidity/basicity) of the solution it is in. Very acidic solutions turn it a deep red; neutral solutions make it a purple-ish shade; and basic solutions turn it a greenishyellow. So now we know, thta vinegar and coca-cola is acid. Basic is soap and milk.
