Life at Masakin Al Furjan just keeps getting smarter, greener and a whole lot more exciting. From the moment you drive in, our brand-new ANPR system, sleek gate barriers and 335 touch-screen intercoms are working behind the scenes to make community life seamless, secure and convenient.
But that’s not all. Our sustainability journey is in full swing. Together, we’ve recycled a remarkable 4,000 kg of plastic through our community reverse vending machines, introduced four-stream waste segregation bins and given our landscapes a refreshing boost with the thoughtful replacement of Damas trees. The result? A cleaner, greener and more vibrant neighbourhood we can all be proud of.
Every upgrade, big or small, is about one thing: creating a safer, smarter and more sustainable community for all of us to enjoy. Here’s to embracing positive change and shaping the future of Masakin Al Furjan together. Dubai Holding Community Management (DHCM) is the name behind the communities you know and love. ONE NAME, ONE VISION, ONE WAY TO BELONG.

Launched in September 2025, a 3-month composting pilot at Masakin Al Furjan turned household food waste into nutrient-rich compost.
In collaboration with sustainable start-up
The Waste Lab, Dubai Holding turned everyday waste into valuable resources, reducing landfill impact.
How Participants Made an Impact
336 kg of food waste successfully diverted from landfill
59 kg of nutrient-rich compost produced for our upcoming community garden
329kg of CO2 emissions prevented, equivalent to taking one car off the road for a full month
Welcome brighter evenings at Block B with new energy-efficient streetlights installed at the entrance, enhancing visibility and making the area more welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

Sustainability starts at home and the choices we make every day can add up to a huge difference for our planet.
Here are some simple, creative ways to repurpose your food scraps at home so they stay out of the bin and are put to better use.

Banana peels to supercharged fertilizer.
Chop and bury them in your plants or blend with water. Your garden is going to have a spa day with the ‘aunaturel’ nutrients.

Did you know that one cup of coffee creates about 0.45 kg of CO₂?
Close to the footprint you’d leave if you were driving your car for 2kms. Sipping from a carton cup? That carbon adds up even more.
Easy swaps can help shrink your footprint:
Bring your own reusable cup
Ditch single-use sugar packets and creamers
These are not just scraps, once dried and powdered, they are your new all-natural dyes for painting, fabric or even adding a colourful twist to your food.

Don’t toss those watermelon rinds just yet.
Chop them up, mix with water and voilà! A nutrient-packed juice is ready to give your garden soil a tasty boost.

Choose organic or local beans
Swap plastic stirrers for wooden or metal spoons
Small changes, big impact. Make every sip kinder to our planet. Click

One of the joys of community living is finding friendships right outside your doorstep.
This feature celebrates neighbours who become companions, cheerleaders, and even extended family, making our communities feel like home.

This month, we share the story of how a walk through the community blossomed into a beautiful bond between two families, reminding us that the best part of home is often the friends next door.
When we moved to this community a year ago, I met Mamta outside her home and a friendly chat quickly turned into a tour of her house and backyard. We soon discovered many coincidences.
Our children went to the same school and both our mothers lived with us. Naturally, the kids became friends and so did our moms. What began as a neighbourly hello has grown into a bond that feels like family.
We carpool, always check in on each other and whenever one of us cooks something special, a portion always finds its way to the other’s home. Moving into a new community can feel overwhelming, but connections like these make it feel like home.
In the words of Pooja Agarwal, Murooj Al Furjan

With the weather getting better, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a BBQ with family and friends.
Ensure everyone has a safe and pleasant experience and keep these guidelines in mind.
Use designated community barbecue areas and grills only. Avoid grilling too close to buildings, trees or dry grass to prevent fire hazards.
Never leave the grill unattended. Always have someone responsible nearby while the barbecue is in use.
Keep a fire extinguisher, bucket of water or sand close by in case of emergencies. Make sure the grill is completely cooled down before leaving.
Dispose of charcoal, ashes and trash in proper containers. Clean up promptly after your grill to maintain a pleasant environment for all.

Empty standing water from pots and trays regularly.
Keep drains and gutters clean and covered.
Use mosquito nets, screens or UV insect traps in the rooms.
Don’t leave open containers of water or stagnant water in bird baths.
Trim overgrown plants and gardens to reduce hiding places.
As the weather cools off, the mosquitoes RSVP themselves to your home like uninvited party crashers. The good news?
Here are some effective ways to keep them far away from your space.
Report heavy mosquito infestations to the community management team immediately.

Spot a leak/damage inside your home and aren’t sure where it’s coming from?
Here’s how you can get this addressed with the help of Dubai Holding Community Management’s intervention.
As per RERA’s Circular 12 of 2023
Homeowners can submit their request via the Mollak Services Gateway to initiate the process.
Upon notifying DHCM, a neutral RERAapproved inspection company will assess the damage. An inspection report will identify the cause, responsible party, suggested solutions and estimated repair costs.

Upon inspection, if the homeowner is responsible for repairs, costs must be borne by the owner and DHCM may be authorised to carry out repairs.
Homeowner will be notified about access for inspection. If denied, RERA may issue a warning and further escalate to the Rental Disputes Settlement Centre. In this case, the homeowner must cover all repair costs.
