FROM THE COMMUNITY DESK
Jumeirah Village Triangle is brighter, safer and more welcoming than ever, with exciting upgrades. Our community’s sports scene is thriving with seven padel tennis courts, five tennis courts, three basketball courts and a full-sized football pitch now ready to enjoy. And that’s just the beginning! Two reimagined parks (formerly Pond Park and Canal Park) are set to open in the last quarter, complete with family-friendly features and even a brand-new skate park.
Across Districts 9 and 5, refreshed landscaping has given the parks a fresh new look, while safety and convenience are stepping up through the installation of six speed-monitoring sensors and 580 new wayfinding signs. Evenings in JVT are now brighter and more energy-efficient too, with LED lighting installed along sikkas and pergolas.
Looking ahead, 2026 will bring further enhancements including new washrooms in our four frequented parks and a dedicated welfare facility to support our valued service providers. With every step, JVT continues to grow into a greener, safer and more active community. One we are proud to call home.

Food Scraps To Helpful Hacks
Sustainability starts at home and the choices we make every day can add up to a huge difference for our planet.
Here are some simple, creative ways to repurpose your food scraps at home so they stay out of the bin and are put to better use.

Banana peels to supercharged fertilizer.
Chop and bury them in your plants or blend with water. Your garden is going to have a spa day with the ‘aunaturel’ nutrients.
Morning Brew Fun Fact
Did you know that one cup of coffee creates about 0.45 kg of CO₂?
Close to the footprint you’d leave if you were driving your car for 2kms. Sipping from a carton cup? That carbon adds up even more.
Easy swaps can help shrink your footprint:
Bring your own reusable cup
Ditch single-use sugar packets and creamers
Leftover Orange Peels?
These are not just scraps, once dried and powdered, they are your new all-natural dyes for painting, fabric or even adding a colourful twist to your food.

Don’t toss those watermelon rinds just yet.
Chop them up, mix with water and voilà! A nutrient-packed juice is ready to give your garden soil a tasty boost.

Choose organic or local beans
Swap plastic stirrers for wooden or metal spoons
Small changes, big impact. Make every sip kinder to our planet.

HOME & HEART
One of the joys of community living is finding friendships right outside your doorstep.
This feature celebrates neighbours who become companions, cheerleaders, and even extended family, making our communities feel like home.

This month, we share the story of how a walk through the community blossomed into a beautiful bond between two families, reminding us that the best part of home is often the friends next door.
When we moved to this community a year ago, I met Mamta outside her home and a friendly chat quickly turned into a tour of her house and backyard. We soon discovered many coincidences.
Our children went to the same school and both our mothers lived with us. Naturally, the kids became friends and so did our moms. What began as a neighbourly hello has grown into a bond that feels like family.
We carpool, always check in on each other and whenever one of us cooks something special, a portion always finds its way to the other’s home. Moving into a new community can feel overwhelming, but connections like these make it feel like home.
In the words of Pooja Agarwal, Murooj Al Furjan

FROM THE REGULATOR’S DESK
Property Damages From External Factors, What You Need To Know
Spot a leak/damage inside your home and aren’t sure where it’s coming from?
Here’s how you can get this addressed with the help of Dubai Holding Community Management’s intervention.
As per RERA’s Circular 12 of 2023
THE FIRST STEP
Homeowners can submit their request via the Mollak Services Gateway to initiate the process.
HOW DID IT HAPPEN?
Upon notifying DHCM, a neutral RERAapproved inspection company will assess the damage. An inspection report will identify the cause, responsible party, suggested solutions and estimated repair costs.

THE ROOT LIES AT HOME
Upon inspection, if the homeowner is responsible for repairs, costs must be borne by the owner and DHCM may be authorised to carry out repairs.
WHO’S TO BLAME?
Homeowner will be notified about access for inspection. If denied, RERA may issue a warning and further escalate to the Rental Disputes Settlement Centre. In this case, the homeowner must cover all repair costs.
