แล้วก็ได้อยูก่ บั โฮสต์แฟมืลี่ ก็ตอ้ งปรับตัวหลายๆอย่าง ทัง้ อาหารการ กิน ทัง้ อากาศ และการเดินทาง เพราะทีโ่ น่นไม่ใช้รถยนต์เหมือนบ้าน เรา ส่วนมากคนที่นู่นปั่นจักรยานเอา หรือไม่ก็ขึ้นรถไฟฟ้าเอา เราก็ ต้องไปลองผิดลองถูก ขึ้นรถผิดบ้างหลงบ้างสนุกดี ตอนที่อยู่ที่โน่่นก็ ได้เจออะไรใหม่ๆหลายๆอย่างทั้งเพื่อนใหม่ ภาษาใหม่ วัฒนธรรม ใหม่ ก็เป็นอะไรที่สนุกดีค่ะ เป็นหนึ่งปีที่ได้เก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ มากมาย ได้ไปเทีย่ วทีต่ า่ งๆทัง้ ทีโ่ ฮสพาไป และทริปต่างๆของโรตารีก็ สนุกมาก ได้ไปเทีย่ วหลายประเทศทีอ่ ยูใ่ นแถบยุโรป การไปโครงการ แลกเปลี่ยนเป็นประสบการณ์ที่หาซื้อไม่ได้ ได้ลองใช้ชีวิตด้วยตัวเอง ช่วยตัวเองในทุกๆเรื่อง ท�ำให้มีความรับผิดชอบมากขึ้น มีประสบกา รณ์หลายๆอย่าง ที่ท�ำให้มีความมั่นใจมากขึ้น การเป็นนักเรียนแลก เปลี่ยนก็ปีที่มีค่ามาก เป็นปีที่จะไม่มีวันลืมค่ะ :)
Michelle Nicholson Sponsor Club: Space Center D.5890 Host Club: Chiang Mai Airport Well, I have been in Thailand for three months already, and I absolutly love this exotic country! I go to Satit CMU high school and from day one all of the student’s have been so nice and patient with me and my slowly improving Thai. Some of my favorite places to go with friends are Walking Street, Robinson, and Central mall. I have also been to Chiang Mai Night Safarri which was really fun and different from any zoo I’ve ever been too! With all the other exchange student’s in my district, I have attended the Central Trip to Sukothai, Bangkok,etc. It was so much fun and I got to see another part of Thailand that is way different from Chiang Mai! At first, I was scared I wouldn’t like Thai food, but when I arrived I knew that wasn’t the case, it’s the exact opposite really. Some of my favorite foods are Rohdi, Moo Ping, and Bah-mi, they’re alloy mak mak!! I still hope to go to Doi Suthep, Zip-lining in the jungle, ride an elephant, and eat a bug. Thailand is such an amazing country, and I have met some of the nicest and most wonderful people ever, and this is only the beginning!
อภิชญา พรวิเศษศิริกุล The Rotary Club of Chiang Mai North สวัสดีค่ะ หนูชื่ออภิชญา พรวิเศษศิริกุล หรือ แพร เป็นตัวแทนของสโมสรโรตารีเชียงใหม่ เหนือไปเข้าค่าย RYLA ครั้งนี้ค่ะ ค่ายครั้งนี้จัดที่ เขื่อนสิริกิตจังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ แพรประทับใจค่าย RYLA มากๆ เลยค่ะ เพราะท�ำให้นักเรียนมา พบปะกับเพือ่ นๆ ทีไ่ ม่เคยเจอกันมาก่อน ท�ำให้มี เพือ่ นกันทัว่ ทิศทัว่ ภาคเหนือกันไปเลยค่ะ ภายในค่ายเรามีการแบ่งทีม เป็นสีๆ ตัวแพรเองได้อยู่สีแสด ตอนแรกก็ไม่ค่อยจะสนิทกันเท่าไหร่ หรอกค่ะ เพราะต่างคนต่างทีม่ า คุยกันถูกคอบ้างไม่ถกู บ้าง แต่อยูไ่ ป อยู่มาก็เริ่มมีกิจกรรมเยอะมากขึ้น เช่น วอล์ค แรลลี่ (Walk Rally) กิจกรรม D-HAPPY และต่างๆ อีกมากมาย วิทยากรแต่ละคนก็เต็ม Jocelyn Boeré ที่กันมากๆ อยากบ้าก็บ้ากันให้เต็มที่ค่ะ ไม่มีใครกลัวใครเลย และ Sponsor Club: Lethbridge Sunrise Canada นี่แหละที่เป็นสาเหตุให้เราสนิทกันมากๆ มีอยู่วันนึงเราต้องตื่นตี 4 Host Club: Lanna Chiang Mai เพื่อมาฟังคัมภีร์ของวิทยากร แพรตื่นสายมาก ตื่นตี 5 ทั้งที่คนอื่นๆ Response: I arrived in Chiang Mai, เค้าตื่นตี 4 กันหมด แถมหอพักยังอยู่ไกลจากสถานที่นัดรวมอีก ล�ำ Thailand on August 3rd, 2010.
