Australia Increases Minimum Wages (Sunnyvale, CA) - The Australian government has announced in its Annual Wage Review to hike minimum wages, says Nair & Co. which provides Global HR services for companies setting up foreign operations. The new move, which is effective from July 1, 2013 increases the minimum wages by 2.6% from $606.40 to $622.20 per week, or from $15.96 to $16.37 per hour.
