Lorin Schultz Receives CCIM Designation Lorin Schultz, CCIM of NAI Cummins Real Estate in Akron, Ohio has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world. The designation was awarded August 23 after a full day examination in Chicago, Illinois.

Schultz is the third NAI Cummins’ agent to earn the designation by passing the Institute’s Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process. More than 15,000 commercial real estate professionals from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia and Europe have earned the CCIM designation since the CCIM program was founded in 1969. Schultz joined NAI Cummins in February of 2009 after five years as a commercial Realtor with CB Richard Ellis in Akron. She has a degree from the University of Akron in Mass Media Communications and has been a Realtor since 2003. Prior to receiving her license from the State of Ohio, Schultz was a TV News Anchor and Reporter for NBC stations in Columbus and Youngstown, Ohio.

Twinsburg Township Relocates Offices to Enterprise Parkway Twinsburg Township will be moving their administrative offices to the recently purchased 1790 Enterprise Parkway. The sale includes a 3,200 square foot office building and a 2,400 square foot warehouse on 1.6 acres. The Township needed to do very little to adapt the building to their specific needs and will perform modest renovations before taking occupancy.


David Kaplan and Ed Matzules of NAI Cummins Real Estate represented the sellers of the property and secured the buyer. The property sold for a purchase price of $445,000.00.

NAI Cummins Relocates Urban Ounce of Prevention Bob Raskow, SIOR and David Kaplan represented the William Bernard Company in their lease of 6,000 sq. ft. of office space to Urban Ounce of Prevention. The Bernard Company is a longtime highly respected developer in Summit County and will be redesigning the entire second floor for the organization. The non-profit agency counsels drug dependent clients and was required to vacate their previous location due to plans for a senior center on S. Hawkins Ave. in Akron. Their new office is located just down the road at 1735 S. Hawkins Ave.

Wichert Insurance Purchases Office In Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio The Tom Wichert Family recently purchased the former Realty One Building at 1200 Graham Road in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio from Chas Boebinger. The Boebinger Realty Family originally built the 10,800 sq. ft. structure in 1987. Wichert Insurance will be doubling the size of their current Cuyahoga Falls office with the move. The new location right off the Rt. 8/Graham Road interchange will be more accessible and visible to their Northeastern Ohio clients.
