My wash, rinse, repeat mantra actually got in the way. Ironically, what I teach leaders to not do, I did. I was so busy creating that my intuition took a back seat. It was nudging me to stop and listen. Instead I kept going. Themed threads such as “Marketing Monday” and “Share Your Success Friday” were created to guide daily discussion and keep the “wall” clean to provide structure and make it easy on the eyes and brain. 2 per week to 7 per week. Over time, engagement dropped, and I was getting tired posting the threads every day,…something was just off. A question to myself, “Didn’t I create a Wash, Rinse, Repeat system that allowed me to post a thread every day, and help the members participate, and make life easy for me in the process?” Hmmmmm. Nope. Just before the community was created, I rolled up my sleeves and researched the Facebook groups to which I belonged. One thriving group had 5000 members and only one weekly thread promotion. Another thriving group had over a thousand members and used daily threads. My practical mission
