Final logo

This is are logo and the name I created for Tony’s marketplace. Tastery is from the word tasteful and -ry is a word that usually associated with skilled person. So, it means the marketplace is specialized / skilled in a anything that related to taste. It strive to offer the best taste, the freshest ingridents, and the healthiest options for the customer. The logo itself is requested to be in type form. I came up with serif and sans-serif logos and I ended up choosing serif logo due to it’s timelss, clean, and modern look. I underline the “A” in the logo, to show that this marketplace is an A level choice for the customer.

Mexico became independent of Spain. The Presidio received even less support from Mexico. Residents of Alta California, which include the Presidio, debated separating entirely from Mexico.

Spanish Captain Juan Bautista de Anza led 193 soldiers, women, and children on a trek from present day Tubac, Arizona, to San Francisco Bay.

1776

1821 The Presidio was a simple fort made of adobe, brush and wood. It often was damaged by earthquakes or heavy rains. In 1783, its company was only 33 men. Presidio soldiers’ duties were to support Mission Dolores by controlling Indian workers in the Mission, and also farming, ranching, and hunting in order to supply themselves and their families. Support from Spanish authorities in Mexico was very limited.

1848 The U.S. Army occupied the Presidio. The Presidio began a long era directing operations to control and protect Native Americans as headquarters for scattered Army units on the West Coast.

1961

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC

The Presidio sent its few remaining units to war for the last time in Desert Storm, the First Gulf War. The role of Sixth Army was management of training and coordinating deployment of National Guard and Reserve units in the Western U.S. for Desert Storm.

1973 The Presidio filled a supporting role during the Vietnam War. Antiwar demonstrations took place at the Presidio’s gates.

D EFINITION

“the number of frames of an animation which are displayed every second, measured in frames per second (fps). The higher the frame rate, the smoother the animation will appear. In the current industry, to produce high quality video, 60 frame per second are the standard rates” -dictionary.com

ABOU T

Within 1 second it take 60 frames each to produce a high quality videos. Many people take what they have for granted. But, in each content and stories of National Geographic there are a lot of research, presistence, hardwork, and sacrifice of many to deliver an accurate and interesting content. There are sixties stories in each content. This New National Geographic HQ will be designed with the inspiration from those who are essential and contributing to viability of National Geography.

IMPLE MENTATI ON I N D ESIGN

The 60 frame rate per second will be implemented by using layers of shapes and pattern. Repetition to show harmony and material difference to show differsity in each “frames” of individual. CONCEPT INTERLACE

D EFIN ITION

It requires two or more elements to interlace to each other to create a relationship. A lot of sweetest memories in life involving some kind of connections. Either it was when your parents first touch you when you were born, the experience of holding hand on a first date, first kiss, or even the first time one’s heart interlacing with a favorite destination. I would like to create a senior center where the atmosphere resemble all the brightest memory in senior’s life. The place which embraces them with care and passion. The place where there is strong community bound and heartfelt atmosphere.

ABOU T

The design aesthetic would involve things to be interlace to each other, by using contrast materials and 2 different elements such as indoor and outdoor spaces. The floor plan would be an overlaping of two square which resembeles connections and community. In between, there is indoor outdoor space to create a maximum daylighting and biophilia design. The indoor area in between the building also represent the vertical interlacing; a spiritual bound of the center. The place that are carefully designed with rounded corner and furniture, and aging in place in mind.

IMPLE MENTATI ON I N D ESIGN

The atmosphere would be using warm color pallete to resemble the warmth from knitted sweater and strong as the root interlace to its soil. The place where each moments would interlace a new greatest living experience and ultimately a place to be called as a home.

THANK you If I look back, there are a lot of people who contribute towards this achievement of my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. First of all, I would like to thank God who makes all my journey possible. He is there thourgh my hardship and happiness. I would like to thank you to my family who given me unconditional love and support so I could achieve this precious achievement in live. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude, to my beloved instructor Chamindri Wijemanne, Kathleen Valkuchack, Agustin Sanders, Michael Sammet, Olga Zhovreboff, Ricardo Marmolejo, Marta Wendlinger, Stephen Hoffpauir, Archibald Woo, and Pamela Tang. and many more that has taught me their knowledge with passion and love. Thanks to their support, I could achieve my dream to be an interior designer. All of my achievement will not be possible without your help. Once, again I would like to sincerly thank everyone for being a great influence and support through my journey to the porffesional industry.
